may teenager is into vintage lookingt-shirts - any suggestions on how to make a transfer look worn immediately - she wants it to look kind of worn and faded...any suggestions???

I just finished doing a couple of tshirts for my dh. He didn't want his shirts to look "brand new", so I grabbed a couple of his older colored shirts (risky?) and then used the transfers that are designed for white t-shirts, so the color of the shirt showed through. On one, I used a transfer designed for the dark colored shirts, but ironed it too long, so the color came through on that but you could still tell it should have been white but wasn't. They don't look "vintage" but they do look worn. I'd show you a picture, but the shirts are packed for our trip that starts tomorrow. (I don't know how well the transfers will stay on "used" shirts, but he is only going to wear them once, so I took the risk.)

what about running it through photoshop before you print it. I think you can make it look old and cracked by using photo shop
