Here's my story,
I'm 48 y.o., separated from my husband for over 2 and 1/2 years with a divorce coming any day now. I haven't dated in all this time because I felt "married".
Today, an old friend (since the third grade) called to say that she had run into a mutual friend. He was my first love (first grade through jr. high!) and he, too, is divorced. He asked about me and then asked the friend if she thought I'd go out to dinner with him.
He's a great guy (or was -- I haven't seen him in 14 years!) I'd really like to do this, but I'm not sure if it's "right".
What do you think?? He sent me a short e-mail with his telephone number. I'm thinking about writing back and sending my phone number. Kind of to put the ball back into his court! I guess I'd have to write something witty, though, and I don't know what to say.
Opinions??
TIA
