HELP! I need a paint color for my kitchen!! ***** UPDATED PICS!!!!*****

I know everyone is going to think I am BORING, but I'd go for an almond-y color. I think with your darkish cabinets and the travertine tile which appears from your pictures to be shades of almond, beige, taupe that a light color would be the way to go. If you look at the part of the wall that is behind the "Home Sweet Home" sign in one of your pictures that is a lighter color (maybe primer or a repair??) it kind of brightens it up.

Actually, I used Behr's Weathered Sandstone in my bathroom, and I think it would be great in your kitchen. It looks like it would compliment your floor and your backsplash. Its a warmer beige, with a suggestion of peach.

What about a red? I have gypsy love in my kitchen but it's more like a raspberry shade-I would think a darker kind of red would look great.

I think you have the same colours in your kitchen. I have light tile on the floor and your counter tops look the same as well. We took the colour from the counter top. This room joins with the hall that is butter yellow...is your adjoining room light yellow. It looks it.

The wall colour is Peanut Butter by Behr. From Home Depot

Your backsplash looks the same/similar to mine, tumbled marble, right? I have the decorative designed edge as well....just LOVE it!!

I can't wait for my kitchen to be done. The backsplash tile should be completed by Friday. The ceiling will get painted on Monday. Then the electrician will come back and finish the lighting.

Good choice!! I just painted our den that exact color last week!!

We just bought this house and have been painting like crazy. I have always been a huge Behr paint fan but I am completely in love with their new line of paint that has the primer included. I painted the shortgrass prairie over a deep eggplant purple in one coat. I could not believe it!!

Oh I feel you!! We had someone come in and do the tile and granite, but my husband did the lights (took down the ugly florecent and put in recessed) and other little ditties....hes good like that. LOL

Thanks guys!!! On the talk of appliances, if I had the choice I would have chosen stainless. Our home was a spec and it was either this or change it out to white so we kept black
