Let's just say we had a bit of a mishap with our DS today, and it is beyond repair and out of warranty. I'm in a panic because I got DS games for the kids for Christmas, and now there is no DS to play it on! Anyone know of ANY deals? I don't need the DSi...just the plain old DS lite will do. Thanks!

If you have a local Radio Shack, check there. I know they had a good deal earlier in the week. Check online first to see if your store has it in stock and then call and see if they will hold it for you until you get there. I think it was either $64.95 or $74.95

Thanks I'll look into the Best Buy Deal. I've called every radio shack in a 50 mile radius and struck out on that one! Any other ideas, please keep them coming!!

A lot of people have reported Walmart matching the RadioShack deal. Try that! You may have to bring in the ad. Good luck.

At Target they have the DSi for $127 which is actually less than the Ds Lite (at $129). SOmething else to consider.

I bought a refurbished Lite from Gamestop.com ... it was $69.99 right after Christmas but it is now up to $99.99...it's better than $120! They also have the old fashioned DS for $69.99 refurbished. It came in a sealed box with a sticker of guarantee that it will work etc. Hope this helps!

you guys rock! I am going to check to see if walmart will price match the radio shack first. I would love a refurb, but of course i'm now under the gun and dont know if it will get here in time for christmas. I also heard that Best Buy is giving reward zone members 10 and 20.00 gift certificates in their accounts, so I'm checking that now. If I try the best buy deal that was previously mentioned, I can get the DSi (and upgrade!) for 100.00. wish me luck...I'm hoping one of these pan out. Being so close to Christmas, I'm not very happy that I'm at the mercy of brick and mortar stores instead of getting the deals online!!!! Fa La La! :goodvibes

We ordered a refurbed 69.99 from gamestop on Sun. It arrived Tues am. You stil have time if you order today. They ship 2 day UPS.

Our Walmart said we actually had to have the ad not just a print off of the Radioshack web page with the price. Anyone know where we can get our hands on an actual ad? Was it in Sunday's newspaper last week?

Starting tomorrow, Toys R Us is advertising a DSLite for $129.99 and get a $20 gift card. It's in their sale flyer for Dec. 19-24.

I was in bed with dd1 after 10pm when I read that Walmart was price matching that radioshack deal. I had called around, but none of our radioshacks had any (even though they were showing in the computer). I got up, got dressed, printed the ad, drove to Walmart (only 5 min or so away), and got told no by the rudest manager ever! It was obvious she didn't believe the ad was legit. The next day, after reading about more people being able to do this, I drove back to Walmart on the way home from work, and an asst manager did it with no questions asked.

I don't think this was in an actual print ad, but you may get lucky if you go at a different time and ask someone else.

I ordered the Dsi orange bundle with mario party(which I was planning to get dd anyway) for $149 and got a $30 gift card to give to dh towards his wii tiger woods game. I ordered it online a few hours ago and could have picked it up at a store but for 6.99 it was worth having it delivered by the 22nd. I originally wasn't planning on getting dd this but after pricing cheap cameras and the cd player she wanted I decided to get her this and she'll have to make due with her older sister's cd player since dd13 is getting a ipod nano and cd/ipod/radio player. They should both be thrilled. Now just some gift cards for dd13 & bath and body works stuff and I'll be done.

My walmart told me "no". They didn't even care that I didn't have an actual ad. Just said they refused to give me a "$60 price cut" and "we can't do THAT". I just said thank you and left although it made me mad because they advertised that they would price match all BF ads but now won't match a regular ad??????:mad::mad:

In September I wanted to purchase a iPod touch and found one on the Walmart website. I printed the ad and went to the Walmart store. Unfortunately, Walmart will not honor their website prices at their stores. They lost a sale from me.

This I have heard. THey said they frequently have web only prices. But, now they have free site to store shipping so I just order it off the web and pick it up in the store. A lot of stores will not honor their web only prices in store.

People need to remember that many items on e-commerce counterparts such as Walmart.com and Target.com are quite different from what's sold in the bricks-and-mortar stores.

Hence, neither Walmart or Target will price-match any internet webiste, to include their own.
