HELP! I need a large box....

My ex has a coffee table that I want and he is willing to ship to me. It orginally came flat boxed, so it will be easy enough to ship...except we can't find a box.

The table is 48X24 and I figure I will need the box a few inches high to stack the flat pieces. Where can I find a box like this?

I ship alot (although that is larger than I have shipped), but my advice is to make your own box using the largest boxes you can, it's really not hard to do. Then weigh and measure it and check the shipping quotes online at UPS and FedEx (and any other shipping companies you have available). Even if you do not box it yourself, check the different companies because I have found that FedEx Ground is alot less expensive than UPS Ground. (yymv)

You cna buy the box at the UPS Store w/o having them ship it (if another method is cheaper). You might pay $15-20 for the box, but if it's a nice table, it would be worth it. They can pretty much make any size box you need.

See if a local furniture store has an empty one you can use.
