Help! I have 3 days to decide!

Thank you all for the information. I called today to cancel. We are going to do more research to see if this is for us. If and when we do buy, I will definitely buy smaller contracts. I would not have known the implications of resale without your expertise! THANK YOU!!!

There are 2 other things you might want to consider.

1. The direct flight from Huntsville to Orlando has been dropped. I don't know if you usually drive it or not...but it can be a pain.

2. Remember that with a DVC purchase you have other expenses to consider such as the price of transportation, park tickets, food, and souvenirs to go along with it as well.

We are very happy with 100 points!

We bought, a few week's ago, and have no intention of backing out. We don't do timeshares, but DVC was worth buying.

I need help! We have signed a contract for 300 points at BLT. My window to change my mind ends Friday. I have never done anything like this before. No vacation clubs, no timeshares, only paid by the vacation. We vacation somewhere every year. The last few years at Disney in Oct. and the Florida panhandle beaches in the summer. My questions that are giving me an ulcer are:

- Is the price worth it in the long run? ($33,000 plus $1100 a year for 50 yrs!!!) yikes!

-If I want out, can I sell easily and not lose my shirt?

-Does anyone wish they had not done it?

With the stock market down and the economy like it is, am I crazy?

We love Disney, which is why we bought the DVC membership. I feel that after about 3 to 4 trips to Disney staying at a deluxe resort each time and a 7-night Disney Cruise, we have gotten our money back. At this point we feel like we are staying for free! We would not have been able to stay at the resorts we stay at and in one and two bedroom suites without it. We also love the Disney cruise and would not have been able to afford that without DVC. We're going on the cruise August 2009 and paid $95.00!!! Where can you take a 7-night Eastern Carribean cruise for $95.00!!! The other side of the coin is that these are tough times and the economy is bad right now, so you have to consider your finances and be sure that you can really afford it at this time. The DVC will be there in the future - it's keeps growing and growing so it won't be going away any time soon!
