Help.......I can't decide if i should request a MK view at the Contemporary or a Bay Lake view. It seems everyone has a different feeling about this. What do you think?? Thanks, any input would be great. Linda

I always request the Bay View. I love watching the sun rise over Bay Lake and all the action on the water. To me the MK view is not quite the same looking over the parking lot.

hi: we've had both views and prefer the mk view. it depends on personal preferences. the bay lake view is great for looking out on a peaceful scene, watching the sun rise, and watching the electric water pageant. the magic kingdom view is kind of neat because you can also see the polynesian and grand floridian. sitting on the balcony watching the lights in the mk at night is great too.

I personally like the MK view. I stayed in a MK view room, but have visited friends staying in a Bay view room. The Bay view was pretty cool, though. I think next time I'll request Bay view, and then I'll be able to decide which I really like better. :)

i have never stayed at the CR, but I think for the first time staying there, I would request MK view.

Laura :)

I really enjoyed the view from my Magic Kingdom side room. I could see the Astro Orbitor, Space Mountain, the Castle, Train Station and the top of Splash Mountain from the balcony. At night I could even see the light from the photo flash at Splash Mountain. I would just lay in bed at night and watch the castle even though it was dressed as that tacky cake for the 25th anniversary  We also watched the fireworks from our balcony on New Years Eve 1996 and had a really great view. We also enjoyed watching all of the water traffic - water mice, ferries, ect- in the lagoon. Oh and of course the monorail going around the loop. Although I think the Bay side would be also nice I would go with the MK view since there is so much "excitement" going on over there :)

since this will be our first stay at the cr, i think i am leaning towards the mk view. i appreciate all the input. anymore is great too. linda

Maybe you could split the view up. 1st couple of days MK then switch to lagoon if avail.
