OK so I made my ADR 180 days out thinking that only 3 family members were going on this vacation and now an additional family member has decided to join us. I am a major advanced planner and now being only 30 days out this little kink has been thrown at me and has turned all my plans totally up side down. Before I even get my hopes up and call to see if my reservations can be changed I want to know how difficult others think it will be to change the party number from 3 to 4...are there actually tables with 3 chairs or do most tables seat even numbers? I am so satisfied with the reservations I made and do not want to change them (and I am sure that 30 days away most of the restaurants that I want would be full). Just need some advice and good old fashioned Disney support before I make that call.

I would check online and see if there are ADRs you can easily change first. And if there are ADRs you can't change, I wouldn't worry about it. Going fom 3 to 4 does not change the table you would get like it would if you were going from 2 to 4. When you check in at the restaurant, just tell them you have 4 now and it shouldn't be a problem. :thumbsup2

Honestly, dont change a thing. Since there's 3 of you, you will be seated at a 4-top table, I assure you.....there's no such thing as a 3 top! So dont worry! Simply walk up to the podium and tell them there's 4 of you now, not 3. It will not be an issue at all. Now if you were changing your ressie from 4 to 5 people, that would be a huge problem!

Awww don't be stressed, planning is the best part of a Disney vacation IMHO :flower3:. With that said, take the advice of the PPs and don't change a thing. Like the PP said it is much easier to go from a 3 to a 4 then if you were to go from a 2 to a 4 or much larger. If you want to make your mind at ease, then go with what the first PP advised and check the availability of the restaurants that you already had booked and then just change the number of people. If not, just leave everything the way you have it. Have a great trip and just remember that you are going to Disney for gosh sakes :goodvibes
