I need some clarification!

If I am going to be on the Dining Plan, do I need to pre-pay for the restaurants when I call to make my ADR or do I just need to let them know that I am on the DP? Do I need verification of this when I am making my ressies? It seems that if I have to pay at reservation time, then I am double paying when I buy the plan when I book my hotel.

Can anyone straighten me out??

You will just need to tell them you are on the dining plan. You don't need any proof at the time of making reservations.

THere are only a couple of places that take a CC guarantee whether or not you have the dining plan. CRT, Luau, HDDR, and I know a couple others but can't think of what they are right now.

California Grill took a credit card for guarantee even though we're on the DDP. They were the only one.

DDP will take a credit card to hold some restaurants but will not charge you if you let them know you have the plan. If you no-show, they charge your card.
