Help! I am looking for knockoff purse?

I bought several Stone Mountains when a local store had a sale. I love mine, it's about six months old and I carry it all the time, The leather is starting to get really soft and I like it even better.

Why buy a fake Vera when the real ones aren't that expensive?

Anyone who buys real branded items can tell when they see a fake one

My mom has a genuine LV bag that cost over 2000.00. My daughter's friend's mom bought a knock-off and I guarantee you cannot tell the difference-it's identical. The knock off cost a bit over 100.00.

Thanks for letting me know. I have this old purse (not stone mountain) and loved the concept. It had a zippered section, then an open section and another zippered section. I kept wishing it had at least one outside pocket that you could put cash/cards for easy access and magnetic closure for open section.

I was shopping on QVC for something and it showed up on the home page, the things I've been wanting and it being Stone Mountain as well. Has 3 outside compartments (front for my cash, one behind it for my coupons, and backside for my work keys and ID card). Inside open section also has a pocket for my cell phone and a velcro section that I use for easy access to my car keys. Then I keep my checkbook and sunglasses in there to get to it quickly.

I was in my glory so I ordered 2 in black. I waited about 5-7 years for this!!!

I looked at the QVC Stone Mountain and it is just like mine except I have two front pockets with magnetic snaps on them and open pockets behind those and then the one big zipper section in back. I have one in cream and one in black. I love them both and they are both the same styles because I love the outer pockets. I will stick with Marshalls since they are quite a bit less expensive but the QVC price is so worth it too.

As said before by me and other posters, fake bags are incredibly easy to spot, especially the Louis Vuitton's. For those who know LV bags, it's so obvious when you see a fake..believe me..you cannot guarantee people cannot tell the difference..I can tell you without any doubt whatsoever I would be able to spot it from across a crowded room.

I agree there are very good fakes out there..but they are still fake and stick out like a sore thumb to those who know LV.

Excuse me, we know Louis Vuitton. My family has collected the for years. We even have steamer trunks from my grandmother. I posted comparing the purse my mom has which is identical to the fake bag.

My mom and I looked the purse over very well. The initials were right,the symbols were right,the lock was right,the lining was right. Everything lined up perfectly when placed side by side with the fake LV. The strap and trim were leather.

Unless you've seen the bags, please don't presume that all LVs are easy to spot.

there are surely some snobby people on this thread.... and being a snob is such an ugly thing. If you want to buy the kid a cheap purse...then do it. Dont let the attitudes of people on a chat board that will never matter in your day to day life change your mind. People used your initial question to jump up on some sort of snooty soap box and make you feel bad. But on this board personal attacks are as common as the fake purses they so desperatly abhore.


dont listen to them....do what you want.... and if the snob walking by you in the mall knows its a fake....who really cares....

I checked out that Bag, Borrow, or Steal site that is at the top of these pages. Yikes! That's more than I would want to pay to even rent one. Oh, well. I'll just have to keep using my purse I bought on clearance for $5 a couple of years ago from Wal-Mart.

My friend's MIL sent her a Vera Bradley purse a few months ago. She sent it to her one day as a surprise. I haven't even seen her using it. I guess she's saving it for a special occassion.
