We plan to go to Disney World in the spring, but wanted to add Sea World to the trip this time. We will stay at Disney and will fly in, so we totally use Disney transportation, but I wasn't sure what to do about getting to and from Sea World. Is Sea World a 1 day trip? What is the best way to handle park passes for Disney? Is there a way to decrease the number of days I need in the parks by one so I don't have to pay for a day we don't use? Thanks for any advice!

Sherrie (who currently has no signature or ticker but wants one ;)

You can take the Public Lynx bus www.golynx.com directly to Seaworld. You can get the Bus from Downtown Disney or the Ticket and Transporation Center. OR you can book a Ticket and Transport option from www.mearstransporation.com They will pick you up at your Disney Resort
One day for Seaworld is plenty
As far as the Disney Tickets go, you can get any length ticket you want, the number of days on your ticket does not need to equal the number of days or nights you are staying. With that said, after the 3 day ticket, it is only $8 - $10 per day for days 4,5,6,7 etc

We rented a car for the day we went to Sea World, it was cheaper for us than using Mears because there was 6 of us. It depends on how many people in your party. You can pick up the car in the morning and return it that evening or the next morning. It worked out well for us.
I personally would not worry about dropping a day off your tickets, as the other poster said the cost per day decreases the more days you buy. For example a base 7 day ticket costs $288, a 6 day ticket costs $278 (tax not included). After spending the day at Sea World you can always go to the Disney park that has evening EMH.

Thank you guys! I really appreciate the advice and the links. I hadn't thought about coming back and going in the Parks, and I didn't know my days were cheaper as they go along. Good advice!:yay:

Where do I get my Disney ticker?

We went in August for the first time and had a car so transportation wasn't an issue but I would consider it a one day trip. We got there when they open and found out that a portion of the park doesn't open until at least an hour later. Keep in mind that the shows aren't until later in the day either. We were ready to go around dinner time. Oh, and stay away from the pizza buffet restaurant ...it was soooo gross and not enough of a selection to make up for how nasty it was! Luckily we had the eat all day band so we just left and went elsewhere. I also founs a code and purchased our tickets before I left home ... saved me $20 a ticket!
