Hello!

I just found 9 Hornsea Pottery plates in my boxes of childhood gifts. Each plate has a letter on it, and together they spell "Christmas". They are in MINT condition, still in their original packaging and boxes.

I admit it, I know NOTHING about this kind of thing... are these plates worth anything? Should I sell or hang on to them?

Does anyone know anything about this range from Hornsea?

THANK YOU!! :teeth:

I admit to knowing knothing but suggest, maybe, having a scout around E-Bay? :confused3

There are books, and specialists, who deal with such things but I know my Mum spent many a fruitless hour trying to find out the value of 'Robinsons Gollies' with no success ..... ;)

Any suggestions, on her behalf....... :goodvibes

Yes! I have each of them and all the boxes. I don't think I've ever taken them out, since I didn't even know I had them! :rotfl:

Do you know much about them?

I know nothing about pottery LOL

Just did some searches on the internet :)

Hornsea in Yorkshire has a very small museum which has a collection of pottery someone there may be able to help.
