Help!!!! GF Sugar Loaf Concierge or Poly Hawaiian Concierge?

Hi,

I know some of you have stayed at these places. Can you help me to decide?

I just cancelled the 1-bedroom at BCV for 2/9-2/14/03 and booked these 2 resorts. I have a 4-year old and a 1-year old. I would love the space at the 1-bedroom. But I think I would like to try the proximity to MK by staying at either Poly or GF Concierge.

Am I making the right decision to cancel BCV? Also, which one would you prefer, Poly or GF Concierge?

I've stayed at both the Poly and the GF, but in RPC, which is a better concierge than Sugar Loaf and I'd recommend the Poly. The Poly has MUCH better food than the GF, and I like the relaxed atmosphere of the Poly with little kids than the GF. As you can see we LOVE the Poly, our third trip there is in Feb. We'll be there Feb 12- Feb 18, we should try to meet up since we'll overlap a couple of days and our kids are the same age, DD is 4 1/2 and DS is 18 months.

Thanks for the info. You had me convinced. I will stay at the Poly and cancel the GF reservation.

I will be requesting a room on the 1st floor, GV concierge. I think my kids are probably exactly your kids' age, they were born in 5/98 and 7/01. It will be great to meet up!!!

Of course the BC 1 BR would have been the better value. You do know that if you cancel the Disney Collection that the points go into reservation status and must be use by the end of the use year and cannot be used for DVC reservations or II exchanges.

Thanks so much for the info. I actually booked it via CRO with the AP rate. I think the 1-BR will be great, especially since we have never stayed in any DVC resorts. But I just could not resist the Poly or GF Concierge.

I think you made the right choice witht he Poly....... very kid freindly and the food is wonderful!

We stayed there this past May with our 3 year old and our 17 month old.... both loved it.... we loved it.... and the room size was decent (compared to the Beach Club.....non dvc.....) Pool was great, everything was great!
