Hello Dis'ers
I'm in nursing school right now and we have a Cultural Assessment Interview that is due. I'm a New Yorker and although I do know others who are non-American, I made an unscheduled stop to the hospital this week and I was unable to complete my assignment because I didn't get to work.
So I was hoping you could help
If you could, please answer the questions below. I don't need your personal information, just the info listed below. It would be helpful if you could cut and paste my questions and then you just answer them.
I very much appreciate your help
1. Place of Birth?
2. To which ethnic group do you belong?
3. To what extent do you identify with your cultural group?
4. Who is the spokesperson for the family?
5. Describe some of the culture's dietary habits?
6. Are there any foods that are forbidden for religious or cultural reasons?
7. Describe your religious affiliation:
8. What role do your religious beliefs and practices play in your life during times of good health and illness?
9. Whom do you rely on for health care services or healing?
10. Describe some of the customs and beliefs concerning:
Illness?
Pain?
Death?
Once again, I sincerly appreciate any help you can offer me,
Corryn
