Help finding Doc McStuffins and Sophia the First at HS

I know you can do the Hollywood and Vine character meal to see them BUT it gets really terrible reviews (the food) and was wondering if they have any character interactions/meet and greats, etc (I remember doing this for Handy Manny many years ago) in Hollywood Studios so we can cancel our ADR at H&V. I saw something about Disney Junior - live stageshow too. Does anyone know if Doc or Sophia is there? Thanks a bunch!

The Disney junior show are small puppets that are up on a raised stage. The audience sits on the floor. You can meet Sophia and jake outside of the show. Doc is only available for pics at h&v.

Doc actually has a M&G now in the same area as Sofia and Jake in the animation courtyard

Not any longer the case. She now has a M&G in the same general area as Sophia and Jake.
Unless you have a preschool aged child I won't do the Dis Jr show. It could be great but it's really bad

Doc has been added to the meet and greet area right ouside of the Disney Jr show and Sofia is there already. The lines can be long, but they move pretty fast.

Doc is hidden around the Disney Jr. Live queue, so it's easy to miss her at first. Her line was really short when we went at the end of May.

They have meet & greets outside of Disney Junior. And I would disagree with the bad review of the food, we have eaten there twice in the past year for Lunch & Dinner and the food was amazing.

We always eat at H&V for breakfast and the food is on par with any other breakfast buffet on property. We always get an 8:00 ADR so the food is fresh and hot, so that probably accounts a lot for our satisfaction. We do the H&V breakfast to get an advantage in signing up for JTA, but it's also nice to knock Jake, Sofia, and now Doc out without any waits. Plus, Handy Manny only meets at the breakfast, so if you care about him at all, H&V is your only shot.

I'm not sure if your kids are of the dancing type, but the breakfast actually billed as "play and dine" is a lot of fun. There is singing and dancing and the kids who like that sort of thing always seem to be having a blast.

I've been to H&V for breakfast and dinner within the last month and would disagree with negative reviews on the food. It wasn't gourmet - it is a buffet after all - but the hot stuff was hot, the cold stuff was cold, it all tasted pretty darn good, and everything was clean.

I did H&V lunch last summer. The food was pretty good, especially comparing to Chef Mickey. I love the Pasta Station. The character interactions is the excellent. My younger daughter had a great time dancing with the characters.
