Help family of 3 have a great B-day

Hi Everyone!!

I'll Be taking my 7 year old daughter to Disneyland for her 8th Birthday with my husband. This will be our first visit to Disneyland. Have been to Disney World but not Disneyland. I've been searching all over for seating vouchers, and have had no luck at all!

I want her to have a great birthday. She has had a very hard time adjusting since we had a new baby in March. So we are taking her out of school and on a vacation with just the 3 of us for her Birthday.

I was wondering if anyone has any DCA preferred seating vouchers for any of the shows,turtle talk or any VIP Parade vouchers- Or Snack/Food Vouchers please let me know. My email address is tsimmons18@cox.net

I guess I understand why you want the preferred seating vouchers, though all they did for us with aladdin is have us wait in line in a different place, and sit a bit closer.

But I don't understand why you want the food vouchers. Especially if you're going to pay for them anyway. If you think they are like food vouchers at WDW, you'll be disappointed, b/c they have a monetary amount, and if you spend under that amount, you won't get change back, and if you spend over, you'll be paying more. Much more worth it to buy some disney dollars or giftcards, so your food is "prepaid" and you don't have to worry about spending even more to use the vouchers.

All that said, I don't have any, b/c the food plan is useless to me (I'd rather get giftcards and use those vs money) and I ended up gifting what was left of our preferred seating things (we only used ONE in two visits b/c they just weren't needed) to a family of three just arriving at my hotel as we were waiting for our ride.

Since you've been to WDW, then first, you must read this thread:

Where you are staying?

When (what days or better still what dates) are you coming?

How many days for DLR?

Driving or Flying?

& also post any other questions that you likely will have after reading HydroGuy's essential thread.

There is a wealth of information here....provide us with the above info & we'll do our best to contribute a magical DLR vacation for you and your family.
