HELP!!Decent Hotels off 95 in Jacksonville,

My dad just made an emergency flight to florida at 12pm today...He is rescuing his new sports car purchase off ebay ....It is in Pompano Beach, fl...He wants to get it out of the Hurricane path ASAP

He will be landing at 4pm...I figure between traffic and picking up the car he should be able to make it to Jacksonville before 12am...

I need to try to secure a hotel for him prior to his arrival in Jacksonville.....I'm not sure one that will be above par....

Can somebody suggest one asap..

you'll be lucky to get anything with everyone fleeing north.

Good hotel rooms are hard to find in Jacksonville...best i've stayed in is at the Residence Inn by the airport.

Hopefully he secured something earlier today, all Jax hotels are sold out now. I dont know which direction h is heading to get home, but I heard Mississippi has hotels available with no problem.

Thanks for the reply's all they be late...

We were able to find him a hotel room at 12:30am....so, even though they were claiming that rooms were totally sold out...there were some available even past midnight.....

We were afraid to book ahead cause even though he swore he could make it as far as jacksonville...I was afraid that traffic would hold him up....well traffic wasn't bad at all most of the time he was able to go 70mph.....
