I'm a bit confused about the new 2008 resort rates for the value resorts. I went on disney's website and tried to get a quote for 9/24-9/28 (Wed - Sun) for a value resort, std room, room only. Instead of getting $82 a night I got $92 a night. From the mousesavers website, it's showing weekday and weekend have the same rate for value season value resorts except for Martin Luther Kings day. I tried other nights in Sept and got $92 for all days. What am I doing wrong? Or has Disney increased their rates again.

Two possiblities: 1. The system defaults to preferred instead of standard rooms which are $10 extra. Check the selected room type.
2. Are you asking for more than 2 adults in the room? There is an extra $10 charge for us because our daughter is 18 now.

I saw something on the Mousesavers site that says that the later part of the year (2008) isn't showing the weekend pricing like the beginning of the year, and that it may be an issue with Disney's computer system. So it could be that the rates will be changing to reflect the new weekday/weekend rates at any time. I would try calling to see if you get the lower rate from CRO.

How are you coming up with 92/night? I went to disneyworld.com and put your dates for room only and it is showing me 82/night. But it also shows me a total of 371 which includes tax, if you divide that out by the 4 nights you get a nightly rate of 92.75 with tax which is the sam as 82/night +13% tax (allstars). It doesn't give me a nightly rate when I do a package but I get the same figures when I deduct the cost of the tickets and divide it out.

Thank you so much. My fault. I put an extra adult in there since my mom is planning to travel with us - but she wants her own room. I should've quoted the price twice - one with 2 adults 1 child and one with 1 adult and no child. Thank you!!!
