Only going to Epcot for EMH on a Friday night ( will be at Magic Kingdom most of the day..)....Have done WS many times.. Only want to do Future world Attractions ... is it do- able in about 3 or 4 hours ( not mission space)
with fast passes or I'm I just crazy ...Have never done EMH at Epcot on a FRIDAY... Please help...

You should have plenty of time, especially if you're not planning on Mission Space. Are you heading over toward Imagination and the Land? You will probably want fp for Soarin and Test Track, if you're planning on that. (Or do the single riders line if you don't have little ones. If you have kids, be aware that they will split your party up.) Also, be aware that Innoventions can eat quite a lot of time if you have a gadget lover in the group.
Have a great time in Future World!

We will be there too - DD and I are taking a little overnight trip to the Beach Club, and I was happy to see that it was EPCOT that had EMN. Being local, we have not had the opportunity to take advantage of this. It will gives us more bang for out buck with the cost of a room for a night since we will have extra hours at the park...

honestly, i think you may be pushing it. You could definatly hit the high points of future world, such as Test Track, Soarin' Spaceship Earth, etc, but not do them all. Remember, you only got 3-4 hours to work with, and you could easily spend an hour apeice just in The Land Pavilion, The Living Seas and Journey Into the Imagination, if you wanted to see everything offered there. That's not even taking Inoventions into consideration. Universe of Energy is probably a good half hour or better, and Spaceship Earth alone is about a 19 min ride. And when I was there a couple weeks back, Soarin' was at least 20 min from the beginning to the que to the point when you were seated, even with a fastpass.

Also, I dont think they do fastpasses with EMH, so watch out. Dont push yourself, you may just want to resolve yourself to hitting the big things, and let the rest go.

I think it is doable if you are in commando mode....considering the following: Innoventions and Universe of Energy are only open until 7pm. If Test track is open when you are going then you can get a FP. Soarin' does not have FP for EMH hours and it will have the longest line. Other attractions open in FW on EMH hours are Circle of Life, Honey I shrunk the Audience, Imagination, The Living Seas, Living with the Land, M:S and SSE.

You didn'y mention when you were going. Time of the year makes more of a difference then a Friday. Go in an off time, you can conceivable do it, go at a busy time of year, it may be impossible, commando mode or otherwise. {and not everyone enjoys that mode}

Just my opinion, but I also think you'd be pushing it. I know I tend to forget how spread out FW really is. I went last Friday afternoon for about 3 hours. And granted, January is supposedly "dead", right? First, we headed straight for The Land. The wait for Soarin' was 80 minutes, with all FastPasses gone for the day. Much of the crowd was filtering over to the boat ride in the Land, so we didn't even do that. We did go to the Living Seas -- I had not seen Turtle Talk, but decided I'd rather wait to see it with my DH & kids in Oct. So, we went to Journey Into Imagination. We rode the ride, took our pic at the end, and then went to see HISTA. We got there just as one show was beginning, so we had to wait for the next one. Nearly an hour had pasted by the time we got out of the show. Next, we did the Disney Visa picture in Innoventions West, but didn't see any of Innoventions. Stopped by Club Cool (old Ice Station Cool). Spent 15 minutes in Mouse Gears & then we had to head back to make our conference dinner. We saw almost nothing, really in 3 hours.

We went back that evening for the EMH. It was really great. Soarin' was still a 55 minute wait, but everything else was deserted.

The closing at 7 is crucial, but honestly if I were you I would totally skip Innoventions. It's really not that great. (i'm way in the minority here, but I feel that it's basically the least Disney thing in all of the Disney parks. It's a big commercial basically for home theatre systems, video games, etc.)

I'd go commando right in and ride Universe of Energy before it closes. Grab a FP for either Soarin' or Test Track if you have time, BEFORE you get on Universe of Energy. That's at LEAST your first 60 minutes, getting in the park, then getting a Fp, then waiting for UOE, then riding it.

So then either go use your FP or go grab the other one first. (ALternatively, if you have enough time, you could hop on the singles line for TT or the singles line for Soarin' if its open, I've heard rumors that they haven't been using the singles line for Soarin'. And this is if you dont mind being split up.)

Then you can hop around the pavilions until about 30 minutes before you need to leave. At that time, you should head over to Spaceship Earth. Now, someone can corect me here if need be, but I've never seen Spaceship Earth closed. Even late at ngiht at Epcot, so many people want to ride it on the way out that they really don't close. And it's one of the "easier" rides to operate. You get on, you ride, you get off. No real reason to shut it down. So I'd bet that even if you're there until after IllumiNatinos (but staying in FW), you'll still be able to ride SE on your way out.

Thanks for all the info...
My DH and I are going with my 3 children and HAVE BEEN to Epcot last year. We really just wanted to get on Soarin , test track, and living land ( turtle talk we haven't seen...). Without fast passes for EMH ( I thought they did give them out) It' is going to be difficult... But worth a try!
Thanks again!

Yes, You can get Fast Passes during eveninb EMH, if there are any left. They do run out, depending on how crowded it is. Good Luck.

Ok.. Good to know.. Now , do you get fast passes BEFORE the EMH begins.. or is there a MAGIC time when they start to issue them for the evening?
Thanks for all the info.. it really helps me plan and be prepared!

How nice for the two of you to spend time together...
I'll be the CANADIAN girl running around with 3 boys ( well 4 actually if you count my DH!) in a panic to get FAST PASSES!!!

Fastpasses are only available for TT during EMH. They start re-issueing them at 9pm. Soarin' does not have EMH Fastpasses (Hopefully they will in the future, as the lines are usually long during EMH.).
