We are taking my inlaws to wdw in August. Want to hire a shuttle to get them from a suburb to the Pittsburgh airport. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help!

i am assuming you are talking about the pittsburgh international airport. here are some phone numbers of companies you can choose from. it depends a lot on where you are coming from which company you pick. since i live only 20 minutes from the airport, i don't really have suggestions on the best service, but i do suggest calling a few different companies and comparing prices. they can vary, sometimes by a considerable margin. hope it helps.

here's a link:

Thank you so much. My In-laws are in New Kensington and we were finding that some shuttles won't go that far out of the city.

New Ken to the airport is quite a haul. I can see why you'd have problems finding shuttles that go that far. You may want to consider having them drive to the airport and storing the car in extend parking or at one of the off-site places. It'll probably be cheaper, too.

However, the official site for Pittsburgh International Airport is http://www.flypittsburgh.com/ . If you click on the ground transportation button, you'll see links on the left for limo's, shuttles, taxi's, and car rentals. Have a good trip!!!

I have a friend who lives in Arnold, which is close to New Kensington. They always stay at an airport area hotel the night before. They find a hotel that has a "park and fly" rate where you can leave your car there the whole time for no extra charge, it's usually $50-$70 for the 1 night. The hotel has a shuttle back and forth to the airport. Check the yellow pages.

If they can drive close to the airport, Charlie Brown's is very reasonable for the week.If you are a AAA member you can park there for the week for around $29.There shuttle is only 3-5 minute drive to the airport.

We do the exact thing DebbieB said to do. We stay at the Holiday Inn Full Service 412-262-3600 or 1-800-HOLIDAY the evening before our flight. This year we're paying $89/night. They have a 24 hour transport that will shuttle you to the airport. We keep our car at the HI and then return there on the shuttle when we come back to Pgh. We have found that it is actually cheaper than paying long-term parking rates at the airport.

My mom is from Somerset and last year we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott near the airport for about $65 the night before. They had free continental breakfast, a complimentary shuttle to the hotel and they let us leave her car there. We just called the hotel (using the free customer courtesy phones) when we got back and they came and picked us up.

It worked out great, especially since we had a relatively early flight......
