Help any ideas on what I can do?

If anyone has any ideas on what I can do I would greatly appreciate it-we have a studio booked at BCV during F and W for our family of 4. Tight fit as is, but that was all that was available. Now Mom wants to come with us and we cannot get her in to BCV at all! What would you do? She would not be comfortable in another hotel by herself. I'm feeling really bad, because I did not tell her that we were planning a trip until it was booked and I don't want this to turn into a major fight.

The only thing you can do is change resorts to whatever is available so you can be at the same place.

However, giving up BCV for F & W would be tough. If this is not what you want, you have to be honest with your mom that you can't switch and the only thing you can do is secure her a room elsewhere (or have her book a room for cash through Disney).

I'd waitlist for a larger room and not worry about it until closer to the date. Perhaps someone else will be eager to get a studio that was unable to do so when they called. Studios are premium real estate for F&W because many times it is couples attending without the kids. Alternatively, perhaps you could post a request for a trade in the R/T board and see if you can locate someone who was really wishing for a F&W studio right here at Dis.

By saying you can't get her in at all do you also mean on cash? I had originally filled in a few days with a cash ressie while I waitlisted.

Or would cash at the BC or Yacht Club be close enough for her to be comfortable?

Thanks so much for your replies! I booked her at the Beach Club in a standard room, since there is nothing at all available in the villas. At least it is the same resort, but wow the price is high!
