Help a newbie out: How does MVMCP affect us?

Our extended family is heading to Disney from Nov 2-8. Our last day there (the 8th) we were planning to spend at MK, but that's a MVMCP day. How does this affect us? Will we be kicked out at 7? Are we allowed to stay and wander the park, play Sorcerers and stick around for Wishes but just not go on any rides? Go on rides but not use FP?

If we do get kicked out at 7, we might still like to watch Wishes somehow, since it's our last night there... any suggestions for the best way for a big group to watch the fireworks from outside the park? Somewhere free/cheap would be preferred.

Yes, you will be escorted out of MK at 7pm. You cannot stay and wander around. They won't even let you into a store, eatery, or bathroom inside the park at 7 or after. Not sure where you could see wishes from outside the park.

yes you will be asked to leave at 7 if you do not have a party wrist band on ( mine was covered by my BM and the CM asked me to leave until I released that is was covered by my MB) and they are very vigilant about clearing the parks after 7 so there is no where to hide no where to go since the CM check every where.

as fair as wishes goes there will be no wishes that night instead there will be hollow wishes you may be able to see then from the fair across the lake, the GF, or a number of other places

I would look for the Robo maps that are find at the top he has some great maps that show you where you can watch the fire works from out side the park.

I *think* you can still watch Wishes from the Poly beach, though YMMV. May be worth a reservation at Cali Grill/'Ohana if you can snag one

The good news is that crowds will be lower on MVMCP days than they are on days that week that do not have a party scheduled so you'll get a lot done in the park that day even though you'll have to leave at 7:00 p.m. I agree it would be a fun idea to make a dinner reservation at one of the resorts where you can see Wishes from the resort and watch it from there! You could also look into whether there is a pirates and pals wishes cruise that night and do that to see the fireworks.

You can watch Wishes from the Poly beach and marina areas, the 4th floor observation deck at CR and the marina and dock areas of GF. If you don't want to spend money on a TS dinner, you could certainly eat QS at any of those resorts and then watch the fireworks. Or just go see the fireworks.

I've only experienced this once, so here's my 2 cents worth:)
If you go in the early daytime, it is not too crowded. BUT, we went early afternoon one event day, and the gates opened at 4pm for all the 7pm party people. I mean there was a Huge amount coming into the parks!!!! We gave up trying to ride any rides at all due to the crowds, pushing, shoving, etc. We gave up and said, "never again". We were surprised at the influx of people at 4pm, so just beware.

My advice is don't spend your last day there...you will be kicked out at 7 and not end your vacation with a fireworks show.

Get tickets for the event or pick another park to end with fireworks

You can watch HalloWishes from the TTC. Post #2 of this thread has a map showing where the best viewing is:

I certainly hope they are NOT showing HalloWishes at MVMCP (see title of thread)

How big a group are we talking about? Wishes can be seen from TTC.

Yes, you'll need to leave the park by 7.

have the hollowed party on my mind, dont they show a specie fire works for chirstmas party too that has the 360 fire works so it really is not the normal wishes either

The fireworks for MVMCP are beautiful. We did dinner at 'Ohana on a MVMCP and while we could have watches those fireworks from the beach (which we have done many times) we booked a private Wishes pontoon boat ride. Not sure how many are in your party but there is a limit to the pontoon boats but we had 9 people.
