I believe Petrozza will choose Jen for his team next week because if he can get her to do her best work in HIS kitchen, then maybe Gordon Ramsey will see that he can get anyone to work with him.

As much as I like Christina, my pick for the winner of this season's Hell's Kitchen will be Petrozza.

So glad that Petrozza won the challenge last night. His one and only. Christina has won enough!!!

What was up with her horrible, awful, ugly restaurant?

Why could Petrozza not come up with menu ideas? Really, it's not that hard to pick like 4 dishes or so. And I don't think he picked his team that well. He should have grabbed Corey. She is a good cook, but more then that, he would have thrown Christine off her game.

I wonder if his choice to choose Jen over Matt will come back to bite him on the backside later? Matt is such a waste of space though, at least Jen can cook a bit. Of course, she is a petty, immature backstabber.

This is the same conversation that DD and I had! It is so clear in this episode how young Christina is. She was sulky when Petrozza won the challenge instead of being gracious. Too bad really, becasue he has never been nasty to the winners of challenges. Then the faces over her restaurant! My goodness what is she going to be like when folks have to work for her. I chose it, I don't like it........CHANGE IT!

I think choosing the menu for this challenge is the hardest part of the challenge. If it is too easy there is no challenge, if it is too complex he runs the risk of a traffic jam in his kitchen. If it is mundane Chef Ramsey will think he has no vision, too exotic and no one will order.

I would not have wanted either Jen or Matt. Jen may try to sabotage whoever picks her and Matt just falls apart. He can cook and so can she but both are loose cannons.

I hope Petrozza wins.

The TV Section of the NY Post today had Gordon on the cover with a story about him. He was quoted on the finalists:

Christina - She's a very gritty feisty little cow.

Petrozza - Very focused.


I put them in white in case anyone thinks they are a spoiler.

Does anyone read anything into these?

It seems that Jen ask the Chef for a letter of recommendation on the finale. She asked the question after Petrozza left the kitchen. Now Matt also cracks up again in the kichten under the watchful eye of Christina.

I was very disappointed too. Almost my whole family was. Christina may have alot of potential but I don't think she is ready to run a kitchen.

I think its bull. IMO the other had a nicer restaurant, better menu and was just good in the kitchen.

I didnt like the out come either. Petrosa had the harder more inovative menue, he thought on his feet when they ran out of parts of some items and I think he was in better control on his kitchen. Christina has probably grown the most on the show with not having lots of experience. But she picked a bland menue & couldnt really run her kitchen. I think she has great potential but is not ready to be a head chef at the reward level.

Petrozza is a stand-up guy, I think he'd be fun to hang out with. He would have won if he had ordered enough food for his appetizers.
Christina is a stone-cold *****, I wouldn't eat food she cooked if you paid me.
Jenn had such a sour attitude from day one, she could curdle milk. Petrozza should have fired her. She was disrespectful and sloppy. Do you think Ramsay will give her that requested letter of recommendation? Regardless, would you hire her?
Matt *really* should have laid off the loud swearing that was sort of under his breath. At least Jenn was open about her nasty attitude.

I wanted Petrozza to win, but I am glad that Christina won too. Matt is a nut. And Jen does not deserve a letter of recommendation. From what I have seen of her attitude if I owned a restaurant, I would not hire her to be a dishwasher.

Would you believe our DVR cut off 10 minutes before the end? I was surprised by the result, since I thought Christina was weak in the service. I thought she should have taken Matt under control.

I never had a favorite this season, and really didn't care who won.
