Hells Kitchen! Official Discussion Thread, Come CHAT!

Sorry my sentence ran into one....I meant Jen took it out but couldn't remember her name.

I was never a fan of hers.

I was surprised when he said Rock's name, thought he was going home. I thought no way. Rock will win I think.

Thought is was funny when Rock and Bonnie had to clean the house and Bonnie said she doesn't clean she just cooks and babysits a little. Her title was nanny....shouldn't she babysit a lot.

oh dear! i did not expect Bonnie to make it into the finals! :faint: last nights show was really good and I loooved the comfort food challenge! But i have to agree that the chicken was too easy!

In my opinion about the quality control - although Jen had not performed well the past 2wks - Jen was first up at bat.... I don't think she was expecting a test/mistake by the stand in chefs. But, she should have been more on the ball.....
After that - both Rock and Bonnie were aware of quality control. And Bonnie was last, so she REALLY looked it over when it was her turn......

I agree to a certain extent, except they did sort of give Jen a softball. It should be pretty obvious that a pasta dish with crab is missing crab. She really should have caught that one pretty easily.

I'm surprised just like everyone else that Bonnie's in the final two. Heck, Bonnie herself is surprised -- that's telling enough. Rock all along has been saying he thinks he should be in the finals -- I would think that any one of them should have been thinking that all along, otherwise what was the point of being there? :confused3 :confused3

Is there anyone else who would actually think to hire Bonnie as their nanny? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Chef, maybe, but Nanny?? :scared:

I thought it was totally idiotic to have BONNIE and Rock at the end... what a mismatch.

I wouldl've loved to see a match between Julia and Rock... Waffle House vs the Exec Chef... WOW! But noooooo, they had to keep the ditsy blond. Even SHE is shocked.

No doubt about the spoiler now. This season was a bust.

Anyone else watch last night's show? I have watched all the seasons so far and I noticed this time they didn't spend any time going over the details with the designers on how the restaurant will look. Are they saving all that footage for next week's finale? Seems they went to Las Vegas instead and had their signature dishes judged.

Also, I was surprised that Rock didn't have a clear menu in his head. Seems for someone who was so sure he'd be in the finals he didn't have anything prepared.

If I were to go on that show the first thing I would learn how to do and do well is cook risotto! Then I would have a plan for the end show in my head -- a menu, a design for "my" restaurant, etc. You know he's going to ask you to do those things if you are the final two. How can you be so unprepared?

i have totally agree about being unprepared! If people want to be on this show, one would think they would watch back episodes and learn what to make excellently and get their menu put together!

I thought I was going to see the finale last night and it was just mostly a recap show. :sad2:

Everyone liked Bonnie's dish last night. Is this another case of editing to make it look she will go farther? Just like they did with Jen the week before.

So, the winner wasn't revealed yet? I missed it last night.

No, the winner will be revealed next week.

This week they did a recap of the eliminations then had them go over the restaurant design and staff uniforms. Then they went to Vegas, had a challenge which Bonnie won, then back to HK. Picked their teams...Bonnie got first choice for winning the challenge, she ended up taking all the girls...Jen, Melissa and Julia and Rock took the guys...Brad, Josh and Vinny.

Im sorry but if I was Bonnie I would have never picked Julia, I think it is just horrible how she was crying the whole time, she should be greatful that Chef Ramsay was willing to pay for her to go to school.

I was so upset with Julias behavior last night. I really liked her a lot during this season- and was thrilled for her when Chef Ramsay said he would foot the bill for culinary school. But her pouting and bawling has got to go.:headache: Good grief  She's just being a poor sport :headache:
I never would have picked that Melissa. I could see her trying to take over the kitchen or sabatoging the service :scared1:

I agree, I would have chosen Jen and then picked some of the guys.

I agree with this 100% it's time to get over it. She is getting a wonderful opportunity still from the Chef!

I agree with the last few posters - Julia was awful last night. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "STOP WHINING!"

Good lord did Melissa look good last night. If only she could replace her voice with say, Jessica Rabbitt's.

For Julia this is still a very fresh wound and walking back in there seeing what she was so close to was a very emotional time for her. It would have been for me. She really put her all into it. I do wish she could have composed herself better but at least we know she was being real and really trying.

I do hope to see her back very soon and see her take the whole thing!

Anyone else having trouble with the sound tonight? We have NO sound at all from the show tonight!!!!!

AHHHHHH!!!!!

 :scared1:

We are watching with the CC on. This is so sad.
