Julia won a lunch contest at a high school and got to fly with Gordon to Vegas for the night. She took Jen with her. They had a threesome at the hotel. (just kidding)

At dinner service, Gordon finally had enough of Josh and kicked him out right during service. Never seen that before. Not sure if it was planned or he just got really ticked. Either way, it was great TV.

Bonnie was the best at service. Rock and Jen were arguiing the whole time. Bonnie nominated Rock and Julia. Gordon kicked Julia out, but was VERY cool about it. Offered to send her to culinary school, hugged her and told her how proud of her he was. It was a class A moment.

I loved Julia but she needed more exposure to various techniques and foods. What happened tonight was wonderful for her. Can you imagine have as a personal reference on your resume: Gordon Ramsey

Did anyone else ever notice how many of the people smoke? No wonder some of them have difficulty tasting.

Wow, you are totally right! Smoking does mess with your senses of smell and taste. Trying to remember if the girl who used the rancid crab in the appetizers was a smoker or not...

Speaking of smells, how about Bonnie throwing out the fish because it smelled? Doesn't most fish smell, well, fishy?

She is not the first one who doesn't know fresh fish from spoiled fish. And this is one of the gals who questioned Julia's ability to work in a hot kitchen???????

haha that's right i almost forgot about the Fish! bonnie drives me nuts too! I like how Rock said:

"you're the nanny" And she was all mad. Suddenly she did NOTHING around the house or with the children, she was just a personal chef

You'd think she would have asked Marianne before she just tossed it in the bucket!!!!!

I know, now all of a sudden, she's not a Nanny, she's their personal chef???

I thought it was VERY Classy of Chef Ramsey to do that for Julia. He knows she'll end up a real winner. I'm glad they were able to meet Heather. I often wonder if they'd have Heather back on the show. I don't remember the 2nd season meeting Michael. But I may have missed it. I like to see what the previous winners are doing now.

Jen was a little bit of an instigator last night. When Bonnie was the one who decided, Jen was all buddy, buddy with her... where as last week she was calling her all sorts of names and vice a versa!

I really hope Bonnie is the next to go! I don't know how throwing away all that good fish gets swept under the carpet but once again she came out smelling like a rose when she has made many more mistakes than Julia. Poor Julia has one evening when she slips a bit and she gets booted. I hope Chef Ramsey's offer comes with living expenses because otherwise she may not be able to afford giving up working for 18 months. I seriously think she was the only one who has any of the qualifications or talents to RUN a restaurant. The others may have more cooking education but can't manage staff or a rest. to save their souls.
And the Women are all back stabbing witches so even though he doesn't deserve it I now hope Rock wins.

In the beginning I liked Rock. He kept quiet while all the others were being idiots and drawing the rath of Ramsey on themselves.

Now..........can't stand him and I really, truely hope that he does not win. At this point I would rather have Jen win then Rock. He is full of himself, flies off the handle in a second for very little. How is he going to manage the every day stress of running a restaurant if his reaction to EVERYTHING is to throw things and whine? He just couldn't keep his mouth shut the other night. I hope he loses. PLEASE LET HIM LOSE. I think it's going to come down to Rock and Jen.

Nanny chick amazes me. How anyone can screw up as much as she does and still gets away with it all. Remember when she screwed up the order? Now the monkfish? She is way to immature to run a restaurant.

Why is it that it seems like most of this years people just suck? Nobody is really qualified to run a big reaturant in Vegas.

I think editing has a lot to do with it. The first time Rock got mad was because of the garbage thing. I think I would be ticked to if I was send to pick up the garbage and have my face rubbed into it that the girls won the photo shoot.

And I am surprised Bonnie is still there too. And the other one I still can't get over the fact she took that stuff out of the garbage and was going to serve it, complains about everyones ideas but never put forward hers. She was as bad as Rock in arguing back and forth.

I still want Rock to win.

Just popping in here to mention that if any of you have BBC America, there is a show called "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" that comes on tonight at either 7:00 or 8:00. Not certain which time is right but I'll check my dvr when I get home. I've seen a couple of episodes of it so far and I like it! Maybe a little more than I like Hell's Kitchen!

I love that show! Thanks for the reminder

Oh man. Just found this thread. I love Chef Ramsey. I was just reading in Entertainment Weekly about him.

For some reason I want Rock to win it also. Don't care for the others at all.

Did anyone watch last night? I'm suprised I'm the first one to post about last night's episode since it's already the middle of the afternoon. Anyway, I can't believe Bonnie made it to the finals. Actually, I don't think anyone was that great this season, but I really didn't think she'd still be here.

I was also able to see the repeat of last week's episode which I'd originally missed. Julia was my favorite cook, and I'm so glad she's going to culinary school, she'll make a great chef.

I really liked the challenge, since I love comfort foods with a twist. I think the chicken was the easiest item, and the hot dog was the hardest.

I have mixed feelings about Jen being sent home. I think she was pretty bad the last two weeks, but before that she'd been better then Bonnie. Bonnie really pulled through last night, being as attentive as she was, she was able to flip out at Ramsey the best, and was the only one who flipped out well enough on the first try. She also passed the quality control test, and Jen didn't. That was a big mistake that Jen made not noticing that there was no crab, and in my opinion, should have been easier to catch then the squab's skin not being crispy, which Bonnie did catch.

Thanks for the synopsis of last night's show. I missed it and have been waiting all day for someone to post. :)

So it's Rock and Bonnie in the finale. Well, that means that the spoiler on who won that was leaked early in the season is going to be right.

I agree, this season has been the worst.

I was also surprised Bonnie is in the finals. For weeks, I thought it would be Rock and Jen.

I missed the last 20 minutes of last weeks show so I was very pleased that they ran it again. I am so happy Julia is given the opportunity to go to culinary school.

I liked last nights challenge and I agree that the chicken was the easiest and hotdog/beans the most difficult.

Jen made a big mistake last night not picking up on the lack of crab. I was surprised Bonnie noticed that the squab's skin was not crispy.

I love a good spoiler - care to post or PM me with who the spoilers said was going to win?

Another fan checking in! I liked last nights show. The comfort food challenge was tough, I think and Bonnie did the best job. On the kitchen she was the best at maintaining the quality. I thought that Jen could cook but that she is not enough of a leader to manage a large kitchen. I was not liking Rock too much lately but I sure did like the way he was with his Mom. I also was surprised that they felt so strongly about Julia. I think her personality came through to us but we never got to see that the contestants really liked her. It was nice to see that there were hearts beneath those jackets.

I don't remember Bonnie taking anything out of the trash, preparing to serve it. Though, Jen did that with some pasta a few weeks back, and Julia called her on it. Did you by chance have them confused?

I was a little uprised last night with Bonnie and Rock in the final two. I was expecting it to be Jen there over Bonnie, but then remembered Jen will always be the one who tried to serve garbage....
