The other thing about not renting a stroller is finding in the hoards of strollers that are parked that look almost alike.
Plus since you have a walking kid you can leave the stroller somewhere central, ditch it for a few attractions, then move to another area of the park.
I love having walking kids. LM's first DL trip, he did most of the walking. Space cadet mom left our stroller at home, so we had to rent a stroller at the parks. It worked out fine most of the time. Around 5ish I'ld go rent a stroller. The problem came when it was time to head back to the hotel, we were staying on Harbor. A couple times, he was asleep and would not wake up. Luckily I didn't bring a lot of gear. I had a sinch bag I could wear backpack style. In it were bear necessities (wipes, spear pull ups, mini first aid kit, cell phone, ID) tickets and money were in one of my pockets. After I turned the the stroller, I had to hold him all the way back to the hotel. DH was already at the hotel, he had hurt his ankel earlier in the trip.
He LOVED being able to walk to everything.
Last time I went we had 3 strollers in our group.
I have another "what would you do" question. I should be at my goal weight, or pretty close to it, by the time October rolls around. Most of you know my stats, but I'll share again for the newbies. I'm in my early 30's married mother of two kids 10 and 3. I'm 5'8" and according to my DH and mom, I'm something to look at, even more so when I'm fit. So, what would you be for Halloween if you were in my shoes? I wanted to be Jessica Rabbit, but I don't think DH would let me out of the house. I'm leaning toward a goddess or a mafiosa.

funny. The only Suzy Homemaker bone I have is counted crosstich. There will be no "make it your self" costumes here. I'll go shopping when our Spirit store gets here.
