Hi I did not know this community existed On the DIS. Found it last month. I am 47, female, and going to Hawaii in June. Last year I gave up caffeine, taking water or juice or skim milk to work. Yogurt and granola for breakfast, sandwich or salad for lunch, supper whatever. I lurked on this community board last month. For January I did stretches, sit ups, push-ups, leg lifts everyday that was my goal. I made my goal every day. Illinois weather. I got to walk or hike 2 to 4 days a week, playing basketball and Nerf wars for one hour every Sunday with the kids inside the shed. I lost no weight but I think I'm stronger.
February goal. For a $50 special I can go to the gym that is by my work for one month only, and receive four personal trainer sessions. I am having my neighbor come over for one month and put my kids on the bus in the morning when I work. I do not want to go after work due to kids, homework, supper. The gym is 40 minutes one way from my home. Closed Sunday. My goal go every day open, even my days off work. Working on loosing belly fat. My real goal is to be able to get up on the surf board and surf.
Posting for encouragement and accountability to my self, now my February goal is out there for me to look at, eek.
Feb 1 weighted/measured showed a routine to do. Feb 2 personal trainer all weights today. Of course I am sore. Tomorrow I will do the floor exercises, maybe treadmill or stationary bike at home. I'll post at the end of the month if any or no weight loss or inches lost.
