Hello, I'm back from DIS-CON & I want to make a list of names & photos!!!

Hi, everyone! I had a wonderful time meeting everyone, I wish that I could put a DIS name to a picture, whether you were officially there or not.

I had the best time at WDW, mainly because of the wonderful new friends that I made there. I'm going to try and make a Trip Report as soon as I can
remember some of the DIS names.

I, like many DISers that were there officially, unofficially, or stayed at home, was a bit scared or reluctant to participate and meet complete strangers.
But now, I wish that I could have done everything and meet everyone for longer periods of time. From getting up at 6:00 A.M. in the morning to get to the DIS character breakfast, etc.; to the all day DIS mini-meets at the parks, or breakfast, lunch, or dinner; to MVMCP from 7:00 P.M. to after midnight, or Jelly Rolls, Swan Karaoke, or Pleasure Island nights past 2:00 A.M.. That usually left three to four hours of sleep before getting started again for another full day of fun with all our DIS friends.

I would like to put a DIS name to your picture whether you were there or not. I guess the best place to start would be with the six pages of photos on the link to the character breakfast below:

Also, go to this link, below, and put a picture of yourself with a name if you weren't able to go to the character breakfast. I sure would like to be able to greet you the next time that I see you at WDW or a DIS mini-meet.

I truly believe that I make life-long friends at DIS-CON, and I wish that I could have had more time in the day to get to know all of you guys. In my mind, I remember some faces, but not their names. And others, I remember some names, but not their faces.

I guess my brain memory is full and not upgradeable, lol.

Great idea Ray. I don't know how long these photos will exist at proshots. Perhaps someone should transfer these pictures over to the wdwinfo site for a more permanent record? Just a thought. And no, I am not volunteering.

I didn't have an individual photo done, Ray, just the big group one. The characters scare me, unless I've a group of people protecting me. Anyway, in that photo, I'm in the second row, right behind the lovely reclining Ms. Dayna, in the ballcap.

Weren't there over 200 of us, but not that many pictures. Some of the group pictures are hard to see and so are the faces with a letter of the word "Proof" over their face.

I am trying to remember the first night that I was there at the Wilderness Lodge's Whispering Cafe. And all the DISers that were at my table of 8 or 10 people and I can't seem to picture all of them or remember some of their names. Or all the people at Barb's table and Dan's table or some of the others that showed up at after dinner to go on the Resort christmas tree tour, except for LisaTx, Glo and Mac-key Mouse.

Then the opening ceremony...I don't remember hardly anyone.

And I want to remember everyone.

Next year,I'm going to take a better camera and write on a notepad or tape recorder all those that I meet and see and do.

Oh well.

There was some sort of Scavenger Hunt that kept us hoping though!
