Hello, Hello, Hello!

It touched down and took out metal sheds. And there was a water spout over Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Strange weather.

Wow, tornado warnings and thunder and lightning??? That is unheard of this time of year here. June-August we get some of that weather, that's it.

Love the new Sig Jazz!

Hi Andrea, there are hardly ever tornados here especially in March. Its really odd. And the fact that it touched down is more weird.

I feel gross and disgusting. You know who came for her monthly visit today. I will be happy when she lose's my address and never comes and visits again.:rotfl:

I had a hard time catching up too.

And how I know that feeling. Glad I got a bit of a break from it. Too bad it's going to be 10 times as bad after!

You poor thing. I do not miss that visitor at all. She decided when I was so sick in 2007 to move on. I was really happy to see her go.

It may not be that bad. My cramps weren't as bad after I had my kids.

Amen sister that visitor left my Mom when she was 43 so that was ALL I really wanted for my birthday this year but nope hopefully it is soon for all of us!

Michelle you are a lucky duck, even if you had to be sick.

I have been told it's a yucky time for about 6 weeks right after the baby is born. Not looking forward to that at all.

Yes! I am very grateful for that! :goodvibes

Thats all you really need is someone who is willing to listen when you get overwhelmed...here is the best piece of advice I ever got...My 1st daughter Amy had been crying "forever" and I was sooooo tired...I had done everything. I called my Mom who said what time is it on your clock? I told her and she said Is she fed, burped & dry? Yes..then put her down and walk away...if she is still crying in 15 minutes call me back.
That girl nor any of my others ever cried to the 15 minutes unless they were ill etc. Something about not knowing how long it has really been makes it seem like they have been crying forever. Look at your clock believe me actually knowing how long "forever" is makes you so much calmer.

That is a good piece of advice! I will have to try to remember that one for sure. It might be hard when you're really tired and it's 3 in the morning, but I will try. Thank you! :)

So true!! Those babies are smart little fellas. When my son was a baby he was still not sleeping through the night at 6 months. Most of the problem was that my Mother took care of him during the day when I went back to work. She would hold him and rock him all day. When he went he went to sleep, she would let him sleep on her lap. So in the evenings I would get him to sleep and lay him down in his crib and his eyes would pop open when he realized I was not holding him anymore, and the crying would start. So at my sons next baby check up I'm telling the Dr. about my dilemma and he says lay him down and let him cry. He will figure it out that you are not going to run and pick him up, and he will go to sleep. It took a few nights of me standing outside his door crying at night because I felt mean. But I stuck with it, and it paid off in about 3 nights.

I'm sitting talking with Tessa, my 13 year old 7th grader. She has been having problems with a couple girls at school being really hateful to her. You don't know how bad i want to go in that school find those two girls and knock the crap out of them. Why are girls so mean and cruel? She said the one girl just came up to her in PE class earlier this week and told her, "I have a new name for you, it's ugly b**ch". Tessa has no clue why this girl did that. But it really hurt her, and I feel bad. The girl did get in trouble, so that's good. I just don't know whats wrong with kids these days, I realize kids have never been total angels, and there were mean ones when i was in school. But todays kids are mean on a different level. I don't know if it's lack of discipline or what.

Kids can be so cruel these days. It's so sad. I remember some girls being mean when I went to school, but it was never that bad. I am sorry she has to go through that. It's gotta be so upsetting and frustrating!
