Hello from Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort!

All I can say is "Wow"! Well, maybe that's not all I can say The resort is wonderful, got a couple of "welcome home's" right away, first thing I saw when we entered our one bedroom unit (1132, 3rd floor, Live Oak Lodge) was Shadow's footprints in the entry tile - so very cute. Have a huge balcony looking out at the water but so far we haven't seen any dolphins out there. Lots of bunnies around though. We are getting ready to go for a walk and then to the campfire but just wanted to say "hello". I'll write a trip report when we get home and I've taken lots of pictures so I'll try to get them posted somewhere so you all can see. It's very low key here, a lovely place for a vacation.

Thanks for all the planning help and tips. My DH is definitely impressed (I've been trying to tell him how great DVC is for a couple of years - this is our first trip to a DVC resort). He's trying to figure out how to get $$$ for a resale now

Hilton Head sounds wonderful! It is our home resort, but we have never been. With only 150 points and 2DD, we always wait until 7 months out and book at a DVC resort in WDW. One day, the DH and I will make our way to HH- without the kids!
