Hey Everyone!

Long time "observer" (lurker just sounds so sinister... LOL) of the Disboards and finally taking a dive in. I am no stranger to message boards, so I tend to observe instead of participating because it becomes so obsessive for me... LOL And I can be very obsessive of Disney. But I do have some questions that I will be posting around, so I felt it necessary to become a participant.

Let me introduce myself a bit:

Married mom of 3 kids (DD7, DS9, and DS11) and we will be going on our third family vacation to WDW this August. When I was dating my hubby, we were visiting friends in Jacksonville over Christmas break, so we decided to party in Orlando for New Year's Eve and then headed to the Magic Kingdom for my first ever visit (hubby had gone a number of times as a kid). Loved it, but because we lived in NY, Disney was never really a priority--well, not until we started having kids and one of my best friends who is a WDW vacation veteran kept telling me how fun it was and how we HAD to go!!

So in 2006, we planned a last minute WDW trip for the end of August. We just missed out on the free dining offer for that year, but it made no difference to us. We had seven fantastic days in the parks and stayed at POR and loved every part of it! It was a surprise trip for the kids--kept it quiet until one of them figured it out at the airport (well, we had to push him, "Look at the bus--what is on it?!" LOL). Most of the trip was just the five of us, but my sister and her soon to be hubby, her DD and my other niece joined us halfway through the trip. In 2008, we went with the whole family in mid July for 10 days. So that was the five of us, my sis, her hubby and her DD, my mom, my other sis and her 2 DDs and her DS. That was some crazy planning (and of course it was all left to me... SIGH... LOL). We stayed at PC that time. It was okay, but hubby and I missed POR. Trip was still fun despite the constant rain and, well, being around the family... LOL

This year, I was determined to plan a trip for the end of August again (we really like it at that time) and was crossing my fingers and toes that free dining was going to become available. As soon as it was open to the general public, my trip was booked in less than five minutes and dining reservations done online in less than 20! LOL We are very excited to get back and even planned to do the Pirate League as an entire family (yes, DD decided that she could give up the BBB this time to be a pirate with me. Hee Hee).

Well, thanks for reading my rambles and it is a pleasure to be among all of you!
