Hello, 1 day at AK.

Hello, Feb 2020,. 3 adults and a 2 year old are going to AK. We are not staying on WDW property and only have the one day. We are going for the 2 year old. But the adult's would like to experience flight of passage.. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Well, you basically have two options if you don't want to wait in the stand-by line for well over an hour. 1st option is to get there before rope drop and walk directly to FOP. The second option is to wait until almost park closing, the sign will have an inflated wait time to scare away riders, but usually you can get through the attraction in about 30 -45 minutes. Not sure how viable that the 2nd option would be because that's a long day for a 2 year old. Good luck !

My advice, if you only have one day, is always rope drop. If you wait until the end of the night and the ride goes down, the toddler is wiped out, etc, you could miss your chance to ride FoP. But my word of caution is that rope drop is a zoo. Pushing a stroller in that mob sounds dangerous, but so does tripping while carrying the little guy. If you’re bringing a full-size stroller, I think I’d use it. I think if I only had an umbrella stroller, I’d carry the baby. Have fun—we love Ak.

FP if you can get it, otherwise arrive at least an hour before park open and go straight to FOP after park open. The ride is fun, but if you can't do either of these then just skip it--there's not a single ride at Disney worth standing in line for more than 30 minutes.
