hi

i was wondering about the largest height restrictions for rides. my daughters are dd5 46" and dd9 56" so i thought maybe they would be tall enough for most things. obviously if there are any rides with height restrictions taller than them then it is for a good reason (too dangerous/scarey). also if a ride is safe enough for a small child but not suitable for a young child will this be stated somewhere? does anyone know what the tallest height restriction is?

im only 6 inches taller than my dd9 (im 5'2) so heres hoping i get on everything lol

love

lucy

I think the tallest height restriction within disney is 48" so your dd5 might be unlucky on a couple of the rides :( although your dd9 and you should be ok for everything :)

Outside of disney I believe a couple of the larger coasters at IOA are 54" (Duelling Dragons is one). I can't think of anywhere with a taller minimum height than that.

Hi Lucy..........

the biggie's (Hulk, Kraken, Duelling Dragons & Space Mountain)
are 54".

My DD is 48" and she could get on everything but the above, the Mummy and Rock n Roller coaster she was just tall enough for.

I bet you're getting REALLY excited, we went on our 1st trip in May and it was awesome. Can't wait to start planning again for 2006.

Have a great time..........................:wave2: :wave2:

I think Space Mountain is only 44" as is Mission Space.

Primieval Whirl and RnR are both 48" - those are the only rides at Disney your younger daughter will be too short for.

As well as the above big coaters Dr Dooms Fearfall is 52" at IOA.

You will get on everything so there's no excuses :p

Nothing will tell if a ride is suitable for young children as it depends so much on the child. My DD (8) still refuses to go on ToT, Splash Mountain but loves Space Mountain. We tried her on Dudley do right falls at IoA and that was a mistake

There's not many rides that will surprise you - the scary ones all look scarey!!

Disney does give warnings on rides such as Mission Space
