Height question

Wrong, partially. During my tenure, MANY under 18 y/o were hired to work on attractions. especially for weekends/seasons. Slowly, though, Universal instituted that TMs had to be 18 to work coasters & Doctor Doom. Now, though, I believe it's 18 to work an attraction. 16-17 can still do foods, merch, and whatnot.

i said ride operators couldn't be 16.

Yes, it is! That one is 9 and my 13 year old has grown about 6 inches this year and is taller than me! I'm so outnumbered...it won't be too long (probably about 3 years) and I will be the shortest in the vacation photos, since we just have boys and a nephew that travels with us.

I have been working with DD on standing nice and tall. 2 more weeks and she's eating like a horse...maybe she'll give me another 1/4'' before we go!

Another thing to keep in mind. You child will be taller in the morning than at night. My boy is right at the 54 inch mark. He shrinks nearly 1/2 inch during the day

Wonder if the same thing happens to all of us? I always weigh less in the morning too. So I'm taller and thinner! Must be why I'm a morning person.

i always heard to buy your shoes in the evening as your feet are bigger then.


so, in the morning a person is thinner and taller
in the evening, they have fat feet.

dontcha mean: in the morning you're taller and skinnier and by the afternoon/evening, you're shorter and fatter?

We put Lauren in her little platform flip flops. We dont put her on the big rides because she is scared. But she loved BTTF, and she really loves Jimmy Neutron. If it werent for those shoes she would have had to sit in the stationery seats on Jimmy Neutron. Hey Bubba Mom...Look at my ticker!!! We are getting there!

hey! where ya been? eh, nevermind...it's ME who ain't been around!! i was thinking the same thing this morning....exactly 2 months from today (25th) i will be working 1/2 day and after dinner driving down to the airport for some sleep to awake to an early flight! workin' my butt off here at home and at work so i get good and tired/stressed out so i can better enjoy my trip! (Did more yardwork the past 2 days then ALL of last summer! ) I know it seems so far away (esp. w/ damo and tlinus and them going NOW), but it will be here before you know it and

We have all been sick with some weird virus. Kids had tummy aches...I have had a fever and exhaustion for 3 days. Still trying to kick it. We are doing yard work as well. Trying to get it knocked out before the craziness sets in. Kids get out 2 weeks before our trip. So we will be running crazy then. I cant wait!!!
