These two crazy ladies talked me into what I'm sure will turn out to be the adventure of a lifetime! This here's gonna be the wildest ride of the west!!

I think it's going to be a GREAT trip!!! I mean, how can it not be? It's awesome already and it's still 228 days until October!

Here is what we have planned for 2014...

March: (spring break) I'm hoping to drive to see Melissa in Minnesota
May: Melissa is driving up to Manitoba to see me and run a 10K together
August: End of August I'm driving to Minnesota to do The Zombie Run AND The Glo Run (both on the same day but one is early morning/afternoon and the other is at night after the sun sets!) and do a couple day trip to Nashville to see Shannon and sightsee!
October: I drive to Minnesota and then we drive to Orlando together. We have a wedding to attend, MNSSHP, TOT 10 MILER and a 4 day Disney Cruise on the Wonder.

I ran the Inaugural TOT in 2012 too. It was my 1st 10 miler. So wish I could run it again with you ladies. Sounds like so much fun! Alas, marathon weekend in January will be my next Disney race.

If you notice in our pictures I have varied body sizes. I am currently in the process of losing weight and have come a long way since I started my weight loss journey. Heather and I ran the zombie 5k last year and we noticed there were quite the few girls there in crop tops. And we admired the fact they could wear crop tops. SO we made it our mission to be able to wear crop tops (Note we both have kids so the likely hood of us wearing crop tops in public is unlikely, but to say we could wear one will be enough). SO we started watching what we ate and working out more. So as you follow along on our different journeys from March to October I am hoping that you will see a smaller me in each trip.

Now back to the trip planning! I am secretly hoping that Heather can make it out here in March the weekend of the 15th so we can celebrate St. Patrick's day in St. Paul who has a huge celebration every year. Plus she can cheer me along in the Get Lucky half marathon!

In May I am hoping to travel up to Canada to run a womens themed run where we will receive finishers bracelets instead of finishers medals. So that will be a new venture.

I am also contemplating running a tough mudder in July and I am already registered to run a ragnar relay in August!

Plus I have the zombie and glo run with Heather in August. With a dress shopping trip to the MOA for the wedding in October. Hoping we can still make it to Nashville. I have been to Nashville several times but because I lived there I did very little of the touristy stuff so I am excited to go back and get to experience Nashville and it's historical history.

I have a good CG Wal-mart story for you...

So, a few weeks ago, Alli and I were on our way home from Woodbury on 19... I needed to stop at Walmart, and I figured "perfect" we'll just stop at the new one in CG... After all - it's right on the way home.

Alli asked me if it was open yet... and I told her "well, we are going to find out..."

So, we pull into the parking lot... LOTS of cars... Sure - it's open.

I park...

Sit there for a few moments... text a friend.

Alli said... "Mom - that dude is crazy... He is running around with out a jacket"...

OK... So, Alli and I hop out of the car... start walking in... Another guy walks out, and I notice he doesn't have a coat on either...

Then, I look at the snow bank outside the doors that hasn't been plowed over by umteenbillion carts...

And I yell to Alli... "STOP! They're not open yet!!!"

Hahahaha.... So we ran as fast as we could to our car and peeled rubber (ahem - ice) out of the parking lot...

I am sure all those workers in there were LOLing at us hoping we'd walk right in - just glad we didn't make it to the doors, if it wouldn't have been for the snow piled there, I would have walked right in. Phew!

OK - so maybe it wasn't that funny and you probably had to be there...

Soooo... Any idea when the CG Walmart opens?

Oh lol! That is funny! It is supposed to be open in mid March. I am hoping they put a fabric department in this one.

Did you hear that the Hobby Lobby opened last week in Woodbury? I no longer have to drive to Rochester or Mankato to go to one!

Oh and if you took 19 you literally drove past my house. Back yard is on 19 right by the middle school.

I did not hear that about HL in Woodbury... I get so turned around in Woodbury - it's not even funny. I will have to go find it.

I am always on 19... Alli's dermatologist is in Woodbury, so we always take 19 through... it's so much easier... Although - now with all those round-abouts... I am going to cause an accident one day, I hate them. LOL

We warmed up to 0 the other day and it was MARVELLOUS…..and BAM back to -34C today. I'm freezing cold. I wish summer would hurry up.

Looks like my ex husband is coming out for a week during the kids spring break at the end of the month. So I'm going to take the friday off of the weekend that he will be here and drive to Minnesota to see my favourite people Melissa and her daughter.

I am having the most boring day at work today so I think I'll go make some BITSTRIPS to amuse myself.

Wishing I could give Melissa a huge today. Hurry up March! Let's go fast. I want warm weather and I want to see my girls!

And I found this awesome Etsy store! I plan to buy this for myself! lol

It has hooks to hold your race bibs and then hooks for hanging your medals. I currently only have 1 bib and 1 medal but it's a start!

hahaha And I made this last week when someone was talking about how nice it was where they live and Melissa commented wanting someone to photoshop her there!
