Heading back to Princess Josie's Castle-An AKV May 22-29 PTR-TR Started 6/3!

I'm all caught up again. What I wouldn't give for a Disney Store at our mall again. Our's closed several years ago and I almost cried. I was in there all the time. We went to Branson, Missouri over Thanksgiving and I visited their store. I was so excited.

I can't believe you bought so many things and the prices.....60 cents for flip flops! Wooo hooo!

I loved your "unexpected" post. We've been going to Disney for 13 years now and every trip has at least one "unexpected" moment.

I can't wait for May to get here. I swear I need a long vacation, to bad we can't make it a 2 week trip ;).

I'm a sucker for a bargain. :lmao: I'm bummed that we won't have a store close anymore but I guess that just opens the door for a road trip! :woohoo:

The unexpected stuff is the best part isn't it?

I hear ya girl. I will be so glad to get these two classes done (my last paper is due on 2/7/10) because I'm not starting any more classes until June...after VACATION! I wish I could stretch it to two weeks but that won't work if I'm going to make it in November. I've starting checking out some Thankgiving week TR's...there aren't a whole lot so maybe that's a good thing. :goodvibes

I made a change yesterday! We are doing the Spirit of Aloha luau at 5:15 rather than 8pm. That should give us plenty of time to go check out MK or EP. Our friends will be at EP so we may head over there.

Assuming we are heading to EPCOT first I will start with that park for my must-do's (in no particular order).

Must Do's
1. The Seas w/ Nemo
2. Turtle Talk with Crush
3. Spaceship Earth
4. Mission Space
5. Living with the Land (hopefully it's reopened by then)
6. Soarin'
7. Test Track (for Joe & Lindsey)
8. Seas Aqua Tour

Maybe's only if time permits:
1. Innoventions
2. Journey Into the Imagination
3. Honey I Shrunk the kids
4. Ellen's Energy
5. Maelstrom
6. Three Caballero's ride

What do ya think?

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Leanne

Sounds great....I always make Jasmine go on Universe of Energy with me in the afternoon when I'm weary and I have a little nap;) She's embarrassed but whatever:banana:

Love your plans :thumbsup2. I really don't think there can be a bad plan when you are at Disney with your family and friends. When we were there in July we didn't really ride much of anything, but it was still one of my favorite times at Disney. I can't wait to get back to ride Soarin'. Dallas and I both fell in love with it in September. We have never done Turtle Talk so we will do it this time and Ellen's Energy ride is Dallas' favorite so it is a must do too :confused3. I just want these 4 months to hurry up and go by :rolleyes1.

Yes, but your other friends (us :)) will be at MK...j/k. Looks good. I wonder if A will be tall enough for MS?

I think your plans for Epcot look GREAT!! :thumbsup2 Lots of fun attractions as must-do's!! I can't wait to hear about what the Spirit of Aloha show is like!! :goodvibes

Great list of must do's!!!
I like the idea of going to the Luau earlier and that way you are able to start all over again for the evening....

Have a great weekend! and have fun at the Boat show

Did you see Mandy (Becca's Mom) has started their TR. Exactly one year ago they went! Said Becca is doing well. Praise God. We were just talking about her!!

I haven't done the Universe of Energy since Ellen's been involved. I think this may be the year to change that and check it out. :goodvibes

You are right. There are no bad plans while at Disney! Turtle Talk is a lot of fun. Now I really must check out the Energy ride. You guys have me excited about it. I'm not trying to wish my life away but I'm excited for the next few months to pass also. :goodvibes

Very true Mary! :goodvibes Big shoes Mary, Big Shoes! I'm on the hunt big time. If I find some I'll give you a call.

I'm excited for the Luau because it will be something new for us. I've checked out some pics from some other TR's and it looks pretty neat. :goodvibes

Yeah, for some reason I missed that there was a 5:15 show. Once I saw that I knew I had to switch. I'd like to start the vacation out right with one of the night time firework shows. :goodvibes Hope you have a great weekend as well!

My desktop is dying as I type this on our laptop. :headache: I was watching a lecture for one of my classes and the darn thing just started shutting itself down and restarting. I got it to come up-got out the external hard drive copied my recent pics over. I was trying to copy over my work and school files when it died. It can't get past the Windows start up now. The laptop is an older model and not good for much beyond surfing the web so a new computer is in my near future. At least I got my pics off the desktop before it died. :sad2:

Oh no!! I'm so sorry, Leanne!! That stinks!! But yes, at least you got your pictures off of it in time!!

The luau sounds like fun! Your plans look great too. You are braver than me for having M:S on your must-do list...I am still too chicken to try it even though my sisters and dad keep saying "it's not that bad."

Oh No! At least you got your pics before it died. Maybe, must maybe, you can get it up and running again for at least long enough to recover some of your other stuff.

:thumbsup2 Sounds great!

We've stayed at the Poly several times, but never made it over to the Spirit of Aloha show. You'll have to let me know how your kids enjoy it.
