Heading back to Princess Josie's Castle-An AKV May 22-29 PTR-TR Started 6/3!

So I'm sitting here right now thinking to myself "how dumb are you Leanne!?!". I just finished a consulting job on Friday and I was so excited to be done and to have a little more time to focus on family and school. Today I get a call from a company that wants me to work for them on contract....of course I said yes. I know I am building the opportunity to own my consulting business, but now I'm wondering if I killed too many brain cells when I was in college years ago. :lmao: How in the world am I going to pull this off, go to school, work full time at my regular gig, raise my girls appropriately, take care of hubby, and take care of my Girl Scout troop??? Oh and then there's sleep and housework-I'm supposed to fit that in too. :rotfl2: Man, I have big time issues ya know!! Okay vent over. :goodvibes

Got all the ressies I wanted! :cool1: So here's the plan (I added a few things):

5/22: EPCOT: Teppan Edo 6:00pm
5/23: AK: Tusker House Breakfast 8:05am MK Dinner at Tony's 6:30pm
5/24: MK: 8am BBB Josie gettting the Castle package and Lindsey getting the crown package. Dinner at 1900 PF at 6:15pm
5/25: DHS: Dinner at 5:30pm at Ohana with Mary and her family!!!
5/26: MK: Crystal Palace breakfast 8:05am and EPCOT Coral Reef 5:50pm
5/27: Beach day no ressies
5/28: DHS: Cape May for breakfast at 7:30am Dinner at WCC at 6:30pm
5/29: Family Choice Day breakfast at Ohana at 8:20 am.

I added a few breakfasts to the plan. We're considering upgrading to DxDP so the ressies will be there if we do upgrade if not I'm still planning on paying OOP. Anyway that's the plan...for now!! I'm so happy that I got everything I wanted. Went to bed at 1am (finished my paper due at 12:00 at 11:58 last night...oops). Back up at 5:30 to make ressies...system let me right in. Didn't work at 1am though. :confused3 Anyway, the exhaustion is kicking in but wanted to share. Have a great day everyone!!!

Ooh! nice choices. :goodvibes I am excited to hear about what you think about Coral Reef, 1900 Park Faire for dinner, TH and CP for breakfast...:) SO many I had thought about for my family.

MAJOR BUMMER....

We just got back from the Urgent Care and Josie tested positive for swine flu. :sad1: She's in a high risk group for complications (asthma) so we have to keep a close eye on her.

I am Glad Josie is feeling better. So scary! We have dealing with bouts of sickness too here in my household but not H1N1.

BTW, I heard Joe telling his boss last night that we are thinking of DVC.....I didn't know we were seriously thinking about it so......:banana::banana:

Woohoo!!! DVC!!! That is a little old dream I have but there is no way we would be able to do it until I graduate and am teaching. Which means it is YEARS away. So exciting. Perhaps you might find time to do the tour in May? The last I heard they are giving out $100 gift cards if you go through it and they are no pressure.

I hope the job works out for you! I bet you will find the right balance. How many classes will you be taking? Do you have to be in class at specific times?

I am finally caught back up on your PTR! I read through things rather quickly so I hope I did not miss too much. I am ALMOST done with my semester than I have five weeks off!!

Hey! Leanne
good for you on the contract and working toward building your own business...but, whoa...you will be a very busy momma...
But, you know you can do it or you would not have agreed!!!
Have faith! :santa:

Hi Stephanie! Glad to have you back. :goodvibes I'm taking two classes right now and will continue to do that for the next 18 months. I will get everything worked out. I am infamous for overcommitting myself. :rotfl: We plan on doing a DVC tour when we go. I think that will most definitely seal the deal for us. I'm sure once Joe see's with his own eyes how much nicer the accommodations are he will be sold.

How is Miss Lilian these days? Hope she's healthy! I bet she is a lot of fun right now in anticipation of Christmas. :goodvibes

Busy is my middle name anymore. I didn't agree because I knew I could do it...I agreed because of the $$$$. :lmao: I will get it done though. I would love to pick my hours and jobs. This will be another baby step in that direction.

How are you doing??

Hope everyone is having a great week so far! I found some really cute lime green with white polka dots at Hobby Lobby yesterday. I can't wait to DIS up all of our stuff for our trip in May. I will try to get some pics posted in the next day or so. I found them in the Christmas wrap section. They were 50% off so I got them 2/$1.00. They are curly, rigid, and cute. :goodvibes

We DVR'd Prep & Landing last night. Did any of you watch it? What did you think?

Good Lord Girl, can you take anything else on?? That $$$ for Disney is a good incentive though!! Yay for a DVC tour. Think you will buy through Disney then?? Can't wait to see the lime green polka dot stuff!! We tivo'd the show, maybe watching it tonight??

WOW Leanne! You are going to be one busy lady!

I always look forward to pics. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us.

If it makes you feel better, Bryan was sold on our DVC contract with the tour. I had done all of my research, provided him with every possible fact. If I didn't know the answer to his question, I made a call to our guide. He i s the type of person, however, that needs to discuss big decisions like this face to face. When our guide reaffirmed everything I had told him and he was shown the model rooms for SSR and Kidani, he was completely sold.

If you want to get a headstart on things, give DVC a call. They'll assign you to a guide. You can get a conversation started with him/her and set up a time for a tour before you head out there. If you want the name of our guide, let me know. I can give you his info. He ws great for us - not pushy for the sale in the least. He just wanted to advise us what would be the best decision for our vacation styles. He even offered to give us a heads up on resale prices to see if they would likely pass ROFR if we decided to go that route.

I forgot to say that if you call DVC, you can request they send you the Deams book. It is a hardcover cover book that gives you everything you need to know about each resort - villa pics, set ups, points charts. Good information to prepare you for how many points you might want to purchase.

WOW, Leanne you ARE going to be busy. But you will find the time, you will just be on a very tight schedule. I can remember it being hard when I was in college full time, working full time, had Amanda and Tyler, doing the school Mom stuff with Amanda, and of course taking care of the house. I thought it was going to be soooooooooooo great when I finished school and had all that extra time :lmao:. Extra time? What is that? You are a GREAT Mom so that isn't even going to be an issue. It doesn't take time to be a great mom, just a lot of love.

I think we will probably go on the tour and see how buying through Disney compares to The Timeshare Store. I will try to get some pics posted this weekend of all the fun we have been having. I have been so busy that the only time i get a chance to post is at work. :scared1: We still haven't watched Prep and Landing. I will try to get on that this weekend too. :lmao:

Thanks for the tips Megan! PM me your guides information and we will get in touch with him. The less pushy they are the more likely we are to buy. Joe hates it when people try to push him. I suspect that Joe will be sold after a tour too. :goodvibes

Thanks again for another great tip. I will definitely get in touch with them.

Thanks Dana! Sometimes I forget that. It's nice to be reminded. :goodvibes

Hi Leanne,
I just discovered your Pre trip report :goodvibes. I have some reading to go back and catch up still. But I'm excited for you all staying at Poly this year. ADR'S look great too! deluxe dining might be a good choice for you this year. Wish we were going the same time but with school, preschool graduation and dance schedule May is not working for us :sad2:. I hope you get great weather this year and I look forward to reading all about your trip. Also would be great if you buy into DVC! We are also considering it again.

Nichole
