DAY ONE, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29TH, PART EIGHT
Once I finished my delicious dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table it was time to start enjoying
MVMCP! It was already 8:20pm so I thought I probably wouldn't be able to get any of the really popular characters, but hoped to get some of the others and see the parade and fireworks.
I headed out of CRT and toward the carousel.
There was a line there, waiting for Peter and Wendy to come back from a break. Since I was already there I got in the line, about 10-12 people back. I talked to the couple in front of me, along with the woman behind me with her son. Her husband and young daughter appeared briefly, then got on the carousel since her DD was afraid of the characters. Her DS was hilarious and was telling us all jokes the whole 15-20 minute wait we had.
When it was my turn I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a Photopass photographer with them, though they did have a handler who took a picture with my camera, after Peter had some fun with me. He pulled my hat down over my eyes immediately. Wendy promptly yelled at him and told him she was going to tell Santa to put him on the naughty list for doing that to me. Peter did not want that at all, so he ran over to the carousel and pulled a chunk of the flowers that surround it off and handed them to me.

Both the handler and Wendy were speechless!! He asked Wendy if that would stop her from telling Santa and she said yes, though she muttered to me that she didn't think Cindy and the Prince would agree since he ripped up their flowers! Here are the flowers he gave me:
Since they had already been talking with me for a few minutes and the line was starting to get long we went ahead and got the picture taken. It isn't the best, as the handler used the flash with the lit up carousel behind us, but you can see us all.
After I thanked Peter again for the flowers, and Wendy said she'd keep him from ripping up any more of them, I headed over to see how long the line was for Scrooge, since he was right by their line. I was completely shocked that there were only about 5 people in line for him, since he was supposed one of the top 3 lines on other nights, with the 7 Dwarfs and Cinderella & Family. When it was my turn I asked him where he had been the last couple of years. He motioned like he was counting $$, so I asked if he was too busy counting all of his money to come and he nodded yes. When I told him I was sad I didn't get to see him when I was there in 2010, I got this response:
He also kissed my hand and made a big fuss over me the rest of my time. Thankfully he did have a PP so I also got this picture with him:
Once I bid Scrooge goodbye I headed toward Tomorrowland. The party was going on in Cosmic Ray's, but there were too many people packed in there. I wasn't interested in getting my picture with Phineas and Ferb, so I turned around, after taking one picture:
I headed into Storybook Circus next. I have no idea why as I was trying to focus on just MVMCP characters, but I went into the tent and got pictures with Daisy and Minnie. Thankfully they only had a posted 5 minute wait, which was really only about 3 minutes.
Daisy was very nice, and I got several picture with her, since there was only one family waiting behind me in line.
Minnie was also wonderful, and loved that my hat has feathers on the rim of it, since she wears feathers herself. The first 2 pictures are from my camera, the 3rd is from PP.
By this time it about 9:25pm. I decided to skip Goofy and Donald since I could see them another time. I started walking back toward Fantasyland as the fireworks started. I did not get any pictures as it was a bad angle.
I was once again surprised to find that Cinderella had a very short line for her, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drisella and Anastasia. They were on a break, but would be back in about 10 minutes so I sat down in line, about 15 people back, and watched the end of the fireworks.
Once they got back the line moved quickly and it was soon my turn. They were all quite intrigued with my shirt as well, with the Stepsisters wanting to know how I got my carriage as they wanted one too. The handler with my camera has some issues, so I have about 5 dark pictures, then one good one from my camera.
The PP only took one picture, but at least it turned out nice.
Since I was having such luck with the biggest characters I decided to head over to Frontierland and see how long the wait was for the 7 Dwarfs. I was happy to find it was only about 15 minutes, so I hopped in line for them. I was happy that they were all staying in character, with Sleepy constantly "nodding off", Sneezy wiping his nose on guests and his scarf, Dopey wandering off while they were taking pictures, Grumpy refusing to pose or turning his back, etc. It was very entertaining to watch.
When it was my turn I took the advice of the CM watching the line and immediately told Grumpy he was my favorite. Well, he was Grumpy no more! He gave me a big hug and pulled me over to sit next to him. He chased Dopey away when he tried to hug me, then motioned for me to imitate him in the pictures. Unfortunately the PPs didn't get pictures of any of that, though they did get a good shot with my camera and one with their own of me with them all.
As I walked back toward the main walkway of Frontierland it was just about time for the second parade. I found a great spot up front by the ropes and enjoyed the parade!
