I'm trying to decide if i should add these to my booking in November, for a extra £85 i don't think its too bad compared to the £142 they want for the Premium vouchers.

Can someone tell me that Cafe Mickey is covered by HB plus set menu (no drink is included is it)? And how much extra would the Auberge cost after you deducted the HB voucher? Or can i used 2 HB plus vouchers to cover the meal instead of using just one?

Life would be so much easier if i could afford the premium vouchers :rotfl: i feel like i'm going to be slumming it. :rotfl2:

Hiya Emma :wave2:

According to my slightly out of date brochure the HB plus vouchers can't be used towards Cafe Mickey...although I guess you can use them at face value and pay any extra. I think the set menu is about 33-35 euros but not sure what the vace value is...hence no answer to your other question :goodvibes

The set menu is 30 euros, I thought i would be able to use there for the set menu esp as HB premium vouchers are worth far more than the plus and they kept telling me last week i could order anything off the menu.

Anyone know how much the vouchers are worth face value?

Bit of searching but I think the plus vouchers have a face value of 26 euros for an adult...if I remember correctly the Innoventions Buffet is 55 for an adult meaning that you'd have to pay 29 euros on top of the voucher to eat there.

Oh i don't want to eat at Inventions, bit bored of the place :lmao:

Its the Princess meal I would pay extra for or if possible use 2 Hb vouchers each instead of 1.

I don't know if it will be better to get Premium as I know we won't eat all that food again. The 2 main places i want to eat is CM and Auberge this time.

In theory, you can use 2 half board vouchers to pay for one Auberge meal - I'm sure Jillrobinson queried this by email after her last trip, and got confirmation that it was possible to do.

Cafe Mickey's set menu is on the premium voucher list only, but you can use half board plus there at face value.

Thanks Elaine,

I don't get why the set menu is 30 euros and the Premium vouchers are worth more, i ordered off the set menu and they kept trying to make me not saying my voucher is worth more.

Does the HB plus cover the kids meal in Cafe Mickey or will i have to pay extra for that aswell?

I don't honestly know - the childs hb plus voucher is worth 11.40 euros, how much is a kids menu meal at Cafe Mickey?

I think its 15 euros, so i guess im looking at a extra 10 or 15 euros.....

Not sure if its better to just try and save up for Hb premium instead.

To be honest I wouldn't pay premium vouchers for Cafe Mickey. We used HB Plus vouchers at face value last time - and wished we'd just got some pizza and a nice dessert instead of a main meal - didn't really enjoy the meal or think it was value for money.

You're definately paying for the character interaction, which is great.

You see if i got Pizza i may aswell share it with DD which means no point getting Hb plus vouchers.

Anyone know off top of there heads how much it is it to pre-pay Cafe Mickey and the Auberge as it might work out cheaper then getting any vouchers :confused3

You would think i know all this having been so many times :rotfl2:

We don't bother with a kids meal for my DD at Cafe Mickey anymore, I just don't think the food is worth the money. We share a pizza and have some soft drinks. Our bill is less than 25 euros total doing this.

If you pay in advance by adding to your existing Disney booking, Cafe Mickey is £28 per adult, £14 per child, and the Auberge is £51 per adult, £21 per child.

Thanks Elaine, it works out more expensive to pre-pay....hmmmmmm

DD doesn't eat the food in there either but I'm greedy and don't want to share my meal :lmao:

Hi Emma!

First off just use the HB+ face value, we did. We had four adult meals, four drinks, one kids meal and drink, and had the kids vouchers left over on payment form just standard vouchers. So I think you will definitely have it covered :)

I know the Princess meal goes up in price soon doesn't it? At the moment it's £44 adult and £16 child - I think the adult price goes up to a shocking £50 something after November 11th so you will pay the current price :thumbsup2 And if you prepay you get the wine............

I don''t drink Wine Lisa :rotfl2:

It was weird you can order other drinks in there now, I got a coke for free :lmao: The CM maybe thought i was a bit to young to be drinking wine because offered me a soft drink right away :rotfl:

All the increases to meal prices etc change with effect from 9th November 2009 I'm afraid.
