Hawaii Flight Deals

In June, Hawaiian, direct from Portland it’s at $800 person….. $267 a person?!? ALL 👏🏻DAY👏🏻LONG 👏🏻
That's what I was saying to my wife. When she told me the cost and the flights are with Hawaiian Airlines, I was sold. We cannot reschedule or change our flights though, but that's a chance I am willing to take. They were charging $100 more per person to be able to make changes

Alaska is having its Winter Sale and if you have any points to use flights are starting at 7,500 miles. Worth a look to see what the deals are for your city/travel dates.

Hawaiian Miles can be transferred to Alaska if you have those. Or Amex points can be transferred to Hawaiian and then over to Alaska.

Read on a blog *some* Costcos have Alaska Airlines GC $449 for $500 in club only. If you have a membership might be worth a look.

Oh jeeze, I think they may have altered their schedule out of Boston. Looks like the Saturday outbound is no more and now it's Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.

Yea, I was impacted by this on a future August trip and tentatively lost a night at Aulani to stick with direct flights. All rooms are waitlisted, so I'm having a hard time shifting. It is disappointing that Hawaiian Airlines didn't make this change before the seven-month mark.

Well I booked my flights last week so of course Hawaiian released a promo code today.

25% off. Hopefully someone can take advantage.

Just found out the above promo code also works on Alaska. If you are flying one day on a weekend you can still have half of your round trip 25%

Cancelled and rebooked my flights today and saved alot. I have found the sweet spot for Hawaii prices is 6-7 weeks out, I knew that but let others influence me and I booked a couple months ago.

Cancelled and rebooked my kids’ SWA flights back home to SoCal on Tuesday…today! Almost as cheap as I saw at the 6-8 week point 🫩🙃

So I am looking about 6 weeks out from Portland to Honolulu right now on Hawaiian/Alaska and the saver flights are attractively priced, but there are few seats available in premium/comfort.

So, a lot of it really depends on how many people are in your travel party, if you are trying to sit together, how much space you want, are you willing to take a tough red eye flight, and how many flights are available from your home airport.

Bummer that apparently none of these cash sales are resulting in discounted points redemptions. I've still found that, when booking with points, the best rates are to be had when booking right at 330 days.

My rebook was with points. Im only taking Hawaiian one way this time and I went from 26250 points down to 17500 points.

For us it was the opposite, First Class actually went down significantly and the main (not saver) went down. I think the one caveat to my flights is our First Class option is not lay flat seating which are more desirable.

17,500 for a first class seat…. Wow!

Oh no that was main. First class had went down to cash prices of $650 RT. We are flying with my daughter and she refuses to fly First class so even though it was painful to give up such cheap First class I did it since its my granddaughters first flight ever.
