Having second thoughts about breakfast at Cindy's

I have ADRs for CRT breakfast on the last morning of our trip. But, I'm having second thoughts about spending 2TS credits just to eat in the castle. Our daughter will only be 18 months at the time, so I'm kind of thinking we could wait to do the castle dining until she's older and would enjoy it more. (Although DH wants to see Snow White. :rolleyes2 )

Anyway, instead of that, maybe we'll do Akershus or Biergarten for dinner one night... Maybe Ohana breakfast... I kind of like to get the most I can out of our dining plan credits.

Any advice? Any reason we just have to, have to do it?

Our other ADRs are Crystal Palace Breakfast, Narcoosee's dinner (my birthday), Ohana dinner, and Coral Reef dinner. We'll be there 7 nights.

If you want to take her to see Cinderella, I'd suggest 1900 Park Fair in the Grand Floridian. It's only 1TS and it's with Cindy, Prince Charming, Stepmother, and Stepsisters. I like it better than CRT.

Hope I was able to help!

Another good idea! Well, helpful, but also throws another option on the table. We've never been over to the GF.

The breakfast at Akershus is good, you get to see 5 princesses and a photo for just 1 TS credit. This was DH's favorite meal during out last trip. My DS and DD also loved it.

And don't forget that there is no guarantees as to which princesses will be there, so jsut because you are eating at the castle, doesn't guarantee Snow White. Snow White can be seen during the day in Germany.

I agree with OP, go to 1900 PF dinner! Our DD is 3 and DS is 5. We ate b and l at CRT (we were there 10 days so no prob with the 2/4 credits), BUT we much preferred the combo of 1900 PP (the interaction between the stepmother and sisters was wonderful!) and Akerhaus lunch (Airel is there for l and d)...2 meals 1 credit each with princesses (Cindy was at our lunch too).

As for DH...we spotted Snow White in the MK in the Town square when you enter on the right, in the princess tent in ToonTown, and in Germany with Dopey. DS even got a kiss from her!!!

Go anywhere else, but I absolutely agree, it's too early to spend 2 pts. on Cinderella's Royal Table.

We enjoy the GF very much - we've only been for breakfast before, but will be going for dinner this time. We've never done Akershaus - I'd like to, but it hasn't happened yet.

I would wait until she's a little older and do Akershus for 1TS credit instead. The food is very comparable (if not better) and Snow White is usually there so your DH will most likely get to see her! ;)

I would wait on the castle. We love 1900 Park Fare!!

I do want to add that seeing princesses honestly isn't really a priority for me. But, then again, I have no memory of ever meeting one before. Everyone that's had a "princess encounter" seems to think they're pretty magical, though. Decisions, decisions! I need more time at WDW, that's the problem!

Also, thank you all for confirmation. I'm going with my gut, and I'll cancel CRT for this trip and save it to do when she's older.

I was immediately going to say KEEP the CRT ADR, because I looooooove it, but then I saw that your dd is only 18 months. Given her age, I'd suggest doing CRT on a future trip, too.

I agree about Chef Mickey's. That's a great choice for her age.
