Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Afternoon all!

My sense of humour tends to err towards the dark side, going for strange or often something that could be classed as rather inappropriate or very British!

1. Dark/odd ball British comedies - think tv shows like League of Gentlemen, Black Books, Inside No 9, Spaced or films like Death at a Funeral, In Bruges or Snatch.

2. Dog Soldiers - this film gets a special mention despite fitting into the above category as it is genuinely one of my favourites of all time and never fails to make me laugh every time.

3. Quirky/dark US comedies - things like What We Do in the Shadows, The Boys, Rick and Morty. Brooklyn 99 is probably the most "normal" or mainstream funny thing that I like

Today is...

So for today's topic (8/29) tell us 3 things you're grateful for that are ___ & ____ (the colors of whatever college you want to celebrate (your own, your kids, the one in your town, the one who's sports team you root for...)

My college colors were brown and white, and I'm grateful for:

cows (some are brown and white) because they give us milk

my kitchen table (it has a wood grain top and white legs)

a college sweatshirt I still own

Happy Friday

I’ll go with my DD22’s college colors for her undergrad, and where she played college softball
⚫⚪🟠🥎

#1 - BLACK COFFEE - I’m grateful for it every day. Today’s flavor is amaretto :goodvibes

#2 - WHITE MILK - I love my milk in my morning cereal and in my protein shake after I workout.

#3 - ORANGE HALLOWEEN & AUTUMN DECORATIONS - I love how i decorate my house in the Fall and I think I may drag that stuff out of the attic this weekend.

#4 - BONUS - YELLOW BANANAS - I’m grateful that this is the one fruit I can eat without any issues with my UC.

I think green and gold were my university's colors.

My eyes are mostly green. What a gift sight is!

Green for Evergreen, the Christmas tree God has trusted my dad and I to tend to.

Gold for memories of feeding Champ Golden Grahams when he was a puppy.
