For a few months now my left hip has been hurting. It hurts worse if I press or bump it against anything. It used to sort of come and go, now it just seems to always bother me. My dr. did an x-ray but it didn't show anything. Meanwhile, it hurts to lay on that side sometimes, especially when I shift around. And it clicks - in the morning when I first get up you can actually hear it, and I can feel the click with my hand when I walk. I'm only 30, shouldn't I be too young for hip problems? I'm not overweight - very petite in fact, but I have had four kids. Any advice? I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac to my doctor!
