No because I wasn't up ....I get up at 6 to be with Lucy while she's getting ready and then back to bed at 7 til time to get Jo up. THOSE GIMMEE gimmee ticket people are crazy.....we have an October trip booked but as commitment phobic as I am, I am waiting til I know we are going FOR SURE to buy those tickets. People are nuts. I'd rather keep my money til I have to hand it over.

I think the bugs are another DIS exaggeration...They are around, but really not going to ruin your trip....(I hope!)Not something to panic about....it's not like they bite or are poisonous or buzzy or gross....they are kind of like the ladybugs we get here.

Believe me, I wasn't up either, but the Theme Park baord was full of those threads! The only time I get up early like that is day 180 for my ressies (gotta make sure I get CRT!) and the day they release the CP packages (so I can get Le Cellier at my chosen time on my chosen night)

I am sure DS will adjust to the bugs, I just wanted to make sure what I was reading was an exaggeration!!

We get those, too!! I thought they were ticks or something bad until a neighbor told me....they look kind of like lightening bugs...I finally convinced the girls they are NICE bugs. I am a bug hater, but they are ok by me.

WE get these nasty swarms of lady bugs...not sure why!?! The kids run scared! They aren't the cute red ones, they are nasty orange ones that nip!!! Also, like Mandy said, there is no rhyme or reason....they're here and then they're not!. You're lucky you don't have those!!!

We have never done any E ticket events...... I could rant about how much it sucks for a resident with an AP to not be able to EVER go to the MK in the evenings because of all the PPP now.... I could handle the few weeks of MNSSHP and MVMCP but good gravy they have party's year round now...... I honestly think it's Disney's way of getting you to buy two tcikets a day but like I said I could rant on and on but I will stop........

I think we are going to try a PPP next March for the little girls b-day and the MNSSHP this fall for our oldest DD birthday..... Trick or Treating around here is horrible and buy the time I buy tickets I will come out cheaper than a party.

I hear ya on that....it IS wrong that they do so many parties and AP FL residents are shut out. You're right...it's their way of making more $$$$$ off people. It's crummy.

We haven't been able to do a PPP, but we've done the Halloween one and the Xmas one....the Halloween one is AWESOME...I think it kicks the Xmas one's butt. That would be a fun thing for you to do esp for a bday!!!

We LOVE the PPP party!! Those fireworks are the best by far!! That being said, since MNSSHP starts SO early now, I would be surprised if they offered it this summer again- I am stunned that we get one in May!!

We LOVE the PPP party!! Those fireworks are the best by far!! That being said, since MNSSHP starts SO early now, I would be surprised if they offered it this summer again- I am stunned that we get one in May!!

I heard those fireworks are awesome! The parade looks cute for little pics I've seen. I really want to make it to a PPP sometime. both my dds were pirates for Halloween one year and we have killer boutiquey handmade Ebay pirate costumes off Ebay....they need to be used at Disney.

hmmm.......I am so not into stocks but we have some that we could make a lot of cash on if we sold now..... but like anything, as soon as we sell the price will go up and we will be kicking ourselves. I just don't want the market to go way down and we have no notice ......story of our lives.

ADORABLE!!!! Totally perfect!!!! Was that just last Halloween??? What fun! I bet you're getting totally pumped!!!

Remember to plan your outfits around those tangled sweaters and you'll be good to go. PS...how are you handling the luggage situation?? Did you buy more or are you trying to keep it to a minimum??

I am not worried about luggage this trip since it is only 1 week in hot weather. I will be fine with my 3 29" rollers. It is the 10 days in December when I am most concerned since we also bring warmer clothes for the evening and I tend to look "nicer" when I am going to the signature restaurants. We might just bite the bullet and take all 4 29" on that trip and pay the stinkin fee

SO CUTE!!! Was that a Jack impersonator or was it a background?? I am dork with old eyes and can't tell. THAT is an adorable pic and cool souvie. Does your little guy like POC movies?? When that first one came out I think Jojo was 2 yrs old...maybe 3....it was so funny they showed in on a flight to Puerto Rico when it was fairly new and Zack was like, "Mom, that is not appropriate viewing for Jojo". She loved it! She was glued to it the whole time and I had peace!!!!

Did the faux capt jack do a good impersonation?? I've just seen him from a distance near the POC ride but he LOOKS pretty darn close to the real thing. What does an expert like you think?

He sounded JUST LIKE HIM!!! And he has the mannerisms down perfectly. Didn't look awhole lot like JD (but who does )

We are so SPOILED with those types of crowds that I am REALLY nervous about May...

Last May when we went it was just terrific. VERY low crowds and the weather was gorgeous. It did get into the 90s though, but it wasn't nearly as humid as summer and teh evenings would cool down to perfect temps. You will LOVE May. It was one of our best trips in years. We had friends that went that time, too, and they said the same thing....it was great.

Wow...I am certainly NO expert on JD, but from a distance the fake one looked pretty good. You would know, though.
