I think Lindsay left on Tuesday, and Denise (triplefigs) is there now. She's doing a TR -- you could ask her about the weather. I think they both come back this weekend.

Brook -- YES -- I'm in terrible GF withdrawl... Your hibiscus are gorgeous -- I think of them as happy flowers, because the colors are so vibrant! I left some of mine out during a freeze last year and need to replace them. Thanks for the pics!

I think Sunday my sister and I are going to go over before the podcast meet and get a quick bite at gaspy's. I want to get some pictures of the grounds that I didn't get on our trip in March. I also need some more Basin White.....

Well- I have sticking with the Sugar Loaf for Christmas. I am not changing. I figure you gotta start somewhere and then work your way up. I would start in the GV if it was not Christmas time and I want help with my ADR's.

I bet Lindsay is having a great time! My trip is so far away but so far I have at least ordered and paid for my tree!

Brook- I hate to put the ol bikini on. I hate my thighs also. I would love to have some of the fat sucked out of them but it looks a little painful. I am going to have all my little ugly blue veins removed.

We have had low to mid 80 highs and mid 60's lows (evenings) and that's the forecast for the next 7 days, gorgeous days! The humidity has not kicked up yet but if we start getting more rain then you can bet on some steamy afternoons. I honestly don't know how anyone can give an accurate forecast for more than 4 days out. I honestly would dress for warm weather

I'll keep you updated if things really heat up here!

Ah, Thanks. I right click my pictures from my myspace page and then copy the picture location. I then paste them in the box that looks like a mountain in your signature. YOu have to have your pictures in a photo hosting site like photo bucket, pretty sure you do, but Brook mentioned that you could link from myspace and for me that was a lot easier to do.

I so want to see a pic of you and captain jack...... Really I just want to see captain jack

Now I need Kristins help figuring out how change my avatar to a custom one....... I found a CJS one I like but it says invalid url when I paste the link.......

Ah, Thanks. I right click my pictures from my myspace page and then copy the picture location. I then paste them in the box that looks like a mountain in your signature. I hate to tell you this but it's love bug season. I hate those suckers because they will ruin your paint job if you don't wash your car off every few days! I was at the park Tuesday with the kids and they were freaked out by them...... not THE park, a local playground WE are 45 min from WDW but if they are here I'm sure they are there. Anyways, I let one land on me and showed them they didn't hurt and even showed them how they were so "nice" they flew around with a buddy. May be your DS will be so distracted by everything it won't bother him as much!

Mine was just a picture that I shrunk down to avatar size (the biggest size the Dis would allow!!)

Try uploading the avatar into your own account and then link it from there... also, I am pretty sure that the motion ones don't work here... this is my favortie JD avatar that won't work here

This is my all time favorite forever and ever JD movie and I love that song!!! (Black Betty by Ram Jam- bam la lam!!)

I am just checking in. I am FINALLY getting caught up on the laundry...haven't even started two of my kids stuff yet.

Kristin, we were at WDW last May 19-26 and honestly for all the talk about the love bugs they were really almost a nonissue. Do you have ladybug problems toward summer?? We do and the love bugs were kind of like those only less. WDW must do something to control them. Ya they;re around, but they are not overwhelming.

Mandy I just noticed your cute new siggie pic! i love the coordinated outfits! Your kids are dolls.

I know they are out, this is just our first time there in season. Are they in peak now? Once they peak, how long are the masses of them around or do they suddenly just disappear?

I think they last about 6 weeks. It seems like they come in waves...... I know that's not much help but being a native you just get use to them and don't notice anymore.

PERFECT!!! No that is the analagy I need. I swear, things sometimes get so overblown here They made it seem like there are masses of them just swarming around all the time!! So they come and go in spurts- I can live with that

To answer Chan's question from earlier, we don't really get a lady bug problem over here, but in the fall we get boxelder bugs like crazy!!! Luckily for me DS is so used to them that he could care less about them.

(OT, but I am starting to sound like Kelly, calling Channing "Chan" I am going to start saying things are WICKED AWESOME soon too I bet!! )

No because I wasn't up ....I get up at 6 to be with Lucy while she's getting ready and then back to bed at 7 til time to get Jo up. THOSE GIMMEE gimmee ticket people are crazy.....we have an October trip booked but as commitment phobic as I am, I am waiting til I know we are going FOR SURE to buy those tickets. People are nuts. I'd rather keep my money til I have to hand it over.

I think the bugs are another DIS exaggeration...They are around, but really not going to ruin your trip....(I hope!)Not something to panic about....it's not like they bite or are poisonous or buzzy or gross....they are kind of like the ladybugs we get here.
