My 90 y.o. FIL used to carry around a "hanky" - basically used for the same thing. Made me want to hurl! MIL kept after him and he's kicked the hanky habit.
OMG...I forgot...my grandparents used to carry hankies, too!! For Christmas and bdays....they'd ask more new hankies!!

Shel.... I understand I REALLY DO....![]()
you just want to jump up and down and scream and yell
YOUR BLASTED SHOE IS RIGHT THERE DORK![]()

but you have to stay the nice calm mommy and explain things like how remembering to brush your teeth is an important thing![]()
Sounds like our sons would be best friends.... but it would be REALLY scary getting them together...![]()
Oh...DS 17 is that way, too....but he can remember all the lyrics to a fave song, anything about his fave computer games....etc...anything that matters to HIM.

Hey, I have one of those too!!! The 14 yo is a pain in my a$$!! He has no real disability ADD but not terrible, just really laziness and he needs to be kicked. I worry about him all the time. If he doesn't develop a work ethic soon he is not going to get very far after high school.
I worry....it is tough because he has one yr of HS left and he has no direction yet. He is getting ideas, but I see such potential there and it might not be used. He is such a smart, nice kid but he needs some real world training.
OK...I am off to walk w/my neighbor...I will be back - be good!!! KEep it clean (ish) - and I will help you KELLY!!
