Please don't think i'm trying to jump on your tour lol ... Just thought if someone wanted to share we could look into that.

I would love to but this is the day the ENTIRE family and a few friends are arriving...so we will have 10 that day!

We are alone from 12/23-12/26 and then the real fun begins!!

Good one! ;) Dont ya miss the office.....i have alot of the old ones on DVR that i watch when i need a pickmeup! How bout the Xmas swap with the IPOD. :rotfl:

It is the best show.... I have all the seasons that are on DVD and the rest on DVR! When we had problems with our DVR and had to do something to fix it that made us loose all our shows I cried. :sad1: Then my hubby got me the office on DVD, no fast forwarding through commercials!

I love the Ipod one..... I guess they could do a new with with the itouch! haha :rotfl:

Now I remember; Your Husband's parents, right?

I have never seen the Office; I hear about it now because of Get Smart but have no idea about when its on or anything.

Yes-his parents, SIL and our friend and his two children. It is going to be nuts...but oh well...I am trying not to worry about it. That is where the VIP guide comes in. Hopefully she can handle all of us.

I am up for a Xmas Meet and Greet. The pool with drinks sounds great. We do not have many plans during the day. We are arriving on 12/24 right now until SW rates hopefully come down and I am changing to 12/23. We move over to BCV on 12/28.

I am planning on booking the girls on the Pirate Cruise and the Wonderland Tea Party but this is about it. We plan to do the VIP guide on 12/27 at MK!

Mike- MK on Xmas morning sounds a lot of fun! I am going to just wing it and see what happens. I thought about booking BBB for them but I know Channing and Brooke did not have such great experiences. I keep thinking the girls would really enjoy this Xmas morning but then I am still not sure if I want to run off to the parks. So confusing!

Our girls loved it but they were 3 and 4, I hate the big sash they put on them. I ripped them off as soon as we got out of there. To me, I don't like my child looking like a waking billboard, lol! My big issue was the BBB was WE had a appt, made it early in the morning at the 180 day mark, and arrived 20 min early and was told to come back at the appt time. We did and then was told by a rude CM that they were backed up and it would be awhile. Not given a time, just told "go wait over there, it will be a while." The lobby was PACKED and there was noway we were gonna sit down in there. WE took off and did the carousel and got a snack and did our best to entertain our girls while my mom waited for our name to be called. I complained several times because when I made the appt I made sure TO let them know I had ADRs at 1900 and wanted to have plenty of time to make it for that. I kept telling the girl at the front and she kept telling me "sorry we are behind, you have to wait your turn" I was so over it and told her after and hour past our appt time " NO your reservation people overbooked this place, I got up early and made this appointment the first day I could, many months ago. I gave myself plenty of time to have this done and make it back for dinner. I even got here early. Make it right or we will walk out and will not be paying the cancellation fee" My girls were called 5 min later.

I guess just make sure to plan for extra time if its not early in the morning.

Oh Mike, The Office is the funniest show on TV, IMHO!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I have seriously almost peed in my pants laughing so hard!:happytv: Some people love it, some hate it. My sister does not think it is funny, but my DH and I LOVE it! It is the highlight of my week! Sad huh? :rotfl:

You have to rent the DVDs from the first few seasons, then in the fall watch it on NBC!

mandy we had that same thing happen to us... the wait was really long! The waiting room sits maybe 5 or 6 people and there are maybe a 100 waiting :rotfl2:

Then you have a bunch of people wanting to just stand in there and look with no ressies....

The place is seriously overcrowded and overbooked. The FGIT are forced to work like robots to crank out those little princesses

the idea was WONDERFUL... the planning of it totally stinks!

If nothing else they should move that Mickey store next to the castle (sit mickeys or whatever) and put sit mickey's inside the BBB and move the BBB to sir mickeys.
MUCH bigger space to work with and then add more FGIT and all... I am sure Disney would make a lot more money having more BBB seats than with Sir Mickeys. :rotfl:

Well I talked myself out of BBB again. (or my girls did)

I even asked the girls if they wanted to stay in the room and unwrap gifts and then go to Chef Mickey's for a late breakfast or do BBB and breakfast in the castle.

Well they heard the word gifts so it presents and then breakfast with Mickey!:santa:

I plan on taking them to the spa the morning of the Wonderland Tea Party.

How far in advance do you book spa treatments??:confused3

That was my assumption from your comment on Cubbie fans! :rotfl:

ADR window opened today? So that means you won't be there for the 25th?
I know how crazy the MK will get and it will probably close but I hear those first few hours can be pretty nice and knowing home is right across the water will make any crowds easier to take.

Swimming and cocktails are fancy enough for me lol as long as i get to sit and relax a bit.

You are correct. We can't be gone over Christmas day. It's a huge tradition -- all the family sleeps at my parents house. My Mom passed in 2006, so it's become even more special. Once I get my decorations down, though, I'm outta town! It really helped last year to have a new tradition for after Christmas.

We are hoping to do several days of VIP guides (it's addicting, but I must say, my fav. guide just left Disney. :sad2: ). If our kids were closer in age I'd love to share ours, but with the difference in ages I don't think it would work too well. Especially since the busy season will take even more time, even with a great guide. We spend little time in Fantasy land and Toontown. (Believe me, we've spent many hours in those lands when the kids were young.) With that said, if it still sounds appealing we can talk. :) Some of my favorite times at WDW and on DCL have been memories made with other DISers.

I have a question on the VIP guide.

I want to go to the MK on Dec 27th which is a Saturday. There is extra magic hours every day during the week after Xmas at MK. That means the park actually opens at 7:00 a.m. to resort guests. What the heck time does that mean we will have to be there??

That sounds like a great way to spend Christmas. I bet your mom would feel great about that.

Actually in the past few years we haven't spent much time in toontown but when i think about it we will probably increasing our time there and in fantasyland with the younger two turning 4 and 2 this year.

Drinks and desserts for sure, though. :santa:

BBB at MK sounds like a nightmare! We've only done the BBB at DTD! We waited about 5 minutes last time but DD was done in about 30 minutes total! The 2 FGiT really work great. One did her makeup and nails and the other did her hair. :) Just FYI ! Sounds like DTD does a better job,IMHO!

:thumbsup2 I am up for that for sure!

Dawn and Mandy- I love The Office! My fav episode is the basketball game! I also loved Arrested Development - so bummed when it went off the air!:sad2:

i always thought the show was dumb :confused3

i saw it a few times when there was nothing else on TV but i really didnt care for it all that well :rolleyes1

I need to ask a question to everyone on this thread. My DH and I are staying at the Gf (alone ) in August and need to know if we made a mistake in this ADR. :confused3 We picked the Brown Derby for our DHS day. I know Channing really loves this place, and I think it is the only place in all the parks that we have never tried. Should we keep it or change to the CG, Yachtsman st. h., or a restaurant like Narcoossee's or Citricos right at the GF? Thanks so much!!:thumbsup2

OMG Wendy I love arrested development too!!!!! I have all the seasons on DVD...there are sooo many hidden messages in those episodes. I have to say a tie between Office and Arrested Development. It must be that type of humor  GOB is my favorite then a tie between Buster and Lucille!@ :rotfl2:
Mandy another Office lover :thumbsup2
