Mike --thank you for the heads up on TGM posting new hours yesterday. That was exactly what I was waiting for. I've followed his guidelines for years and pretty much know what to do, but with so many parks having EMH hours early AND late, it was driving me crazy. I did get my first draft of planning done and off to Calvin. He has already answered back. He told me (and then I read on another thread) that Garden Grill isn't doing lunch after October. Bummer -- Jake loves that place (loves that it turns, loves The Land ride and loves to look down on it) so we'll have to make a few changes to get there for dinner.

Chan -- Andrew has more baseball the next few days, so if I don't get on before you leave, have a terrific time on your trip! Please say hello to V and J for me.

Well...here I sit procrastinating......I brought my luggage up late last night. It's in the dining room. It will make it's way upstairs in a few hours...hopefully.

Wel....DH just woke up. I am going to go check in with him. Maybe he can take the family out of here for a while so I won't be so distracted...maybe he needs to remove the computers, too.

Ya...well I had to plug the vacuum into an outlet here by the computer...haha...I was drawn to this like a magnet....

So....can i rant for a second? My son lost his NEW Razer/ Razor (whatever) phone and we just replaced it last week.....WELL...today he says "Has anybody seen my Ipod?" ....and he cannot FIND IT. I am ill. I would be tearing the house apart desperate to find something that expensvie if I lost it....he isn't.. (WHat is up with that?) and I am thinking ....OMG...sweet mother of pearl...he is going to make our lives HOLY H*** if he doesn't have an ipod for two weeks in WDW. I am already thinking...what is he going to do without his PC for two weeks....

DH just gave him an older ipod to use...so i guess that's it. He is quitting the search. He's the guy that accidentally dumped his BRAND NEW ONE DAY OLD Zune in teh potty and it got ruined from water damage.

I was still hping the Razor would turn up....and now forget it I am sure his IPOD is toast. Never to show itself around here again. I NEVER owned such expensive stuff when I was a kid. I think it's our fault and we've spoiled him. So basically I am mad at myself, too.

OK...on with vacuuming!

Annette....yep we leave early Tuesday...and get back July 13. I am getting excited, but then these little bumps in the road get me rattled.

Have a great trip. I've been home less than 2 months and it seems like so long ago we were there, and so long until our next one. We are not staying at the GF for our Dec trip. Right now we have the Hilton in DTD booked, but that is subject to change when AP rates come out. Have you ever stayed there, I think I remember you mentioning it once. How was it? Maybe I will switch to an EP resort since we are only there 4 days and spending most of our time in EP. Your DS sounds like mine, he loses everything. Yesterday I found his license in the laundry again. Can't tell you how many phones he has either lost or broke. He's 22 and it doesn't get any better, he just loses more expensive things. At least now he is paying for them.

Hi Gals....is it summer yet??? Uh not in Chicago it is only 70 and breezy today and no sun....i look pale and have only been to the pool once this summer...GRRRRRR!

Chan...i know how you feel I have one of those in my house...i let her borrow my phone and now it is lost..not to mention a razor and a chocolate before that! Thats just within the last year...im not even going down the road of HS and college...it makes me want to puke! I guess cause i take care of my sh** so well and am organized..her car looks like a second bedroom. I could go on for days!

Sorry to hear that! Aren't teen boys great! My DS loses stuff too but the only 2 things he hasn't lost are his phone and Ipod!! He knows he could not live without those 2 things so he is very careful with them! But his retainer - not so much!

Ya never know - hopefully they will turn up before you all leave!

I know - its hard to resist buying them this stuff when it is practical for them to have things like a phone. I do like him to have it in case he's at football practice, a friends house, etc. and needs to get a hold of me. The IPods are great for in the car, plane,etc.!

DS has a basic Samsung phone, but nothing too fancy and he's always talking about how his friends have cooler phones - blah,blah,blah! We told him when he proved he could be responsible and not lose things he could get a better phone! And he has to pay for half of it! The paying for always hushes him up because he has to think about whether its worth his $$ or not!
I know what you mean - I never had expensive stuff like that either growing up and no phone or TV in my room. My kids don't have either of those in their rooms and they won't! I'm such a mean mom!

Ok!! Count me in too!! My DS losses everything!!! He has gone swimming with his phone too!! I remember when he was younger and he lost his Nintendo or something like it, I knew I was in trouble!!!

Channing - Do you have any schedule or plans? I will be thinking of you at WDW!!! Have you ever spent 4th of July there before? Last year I saw they had a crowd of people sworn in as American Citizens at the MK. Do they do that every year?

I was on the GF photo Thread and someone had photos of a Mickey Dome (What is that) and Cookies and Milk.

I can't find a room service menu and was wonder if you can get that in the evening and of course I need to know what a Mickey Dome is.

My NICE husband just bought me a super cutie Sony laptop today!! It isn't Ferarri red, LOL...it's chocolate brown (I love it anyway ...no I really do like chocolate brown, so it's COOL

He was sick of me alway using "his" (well mine and his - but he has his games etc on it) desktop...and then his laptop.....so he came thru and bought me my own...so I can load skype, itunes, my emails, all the FUN STUFF on it! I will be right here with you guys all teh time. Ya...I know you're shutting down your PCs and running screaming at that threat, right?

Annette...that is neat about the 4th! YEs...we've spent the past two July 4ths at WDW....we avoid MK like the plague though. We did MGM the past two...in 2006 it was EMPTY...walk ons...last year the secret was out and it was packed in MGM...this year I think we will take a rest from the parks on the 4th. WE will probably do DTD...haven't been there in a while. Gotta try that Wolfgang Puck place you all enjoy! Don't tell me I need an ADR...please!

I never really wing it. I have all my required ADRs lined up. We are going to sleep in, swim, and then head to parks late. Just relax more than anything....and then when we move to the GF the girls and i will try and be there at rope drop at least one morning.

I laughed when I read about your son's misplaced electonics. My twins are 9 and now that they have Nintendo Ds's, I am like a hawk when those babies ever leave the house, plus games, chargers etc. The boya think I am positively out fo my mind when I pack every little piece in its specific bag and rant and rave if it's not done right. Ucz who is gonna pay the price if something gets lost? ME!!! I love those things on a long car drive!!!

Tell Vonnie et al that we'll be re-introducing ourselves Nov 8-11, after we have our wish trip stay at Give Kids the World. Our son's wishes first, then Mum and Dad's wish to return to RPC! Kelly's had some great advice. We're still hoping to shake out a deluxe room (well it's a wish trip, so I can wish, can't I?!?), and we need an RPC room, to appear for Nov 8th - so far we're GV.

Hi gals! Trying to catch up with everything. We were gone all weekend camping with friends. We had a great time. There was a pool, petting zoo and hayrack rides for the kids. It kept the girls very busy which is good.

Good morning!

For those going in December, we're doing both a Wishes cruise and an Illuminations (but hopefully on the breathless). I'm willing to share if anyone is interested.

I know Vanessa and Mike will both be there during Christmas/New Years, but my memory is really bad -- who else will be there during that time? Anyone want to do a small dessert party/fireworks viewing at the Grand or maybe just meet for sodas/drinks?
