Congrats Lesley!

Here's an article someone forwarded me about the odds of having another boy after having boys. It's interesting:

http://www.in-gender.com/XYU/Odds/Gender_Odds.aspx

Well, only 2 of the 3 boxes made it to the GF. Get this: the 3rd box is still on the truck because it's 36 lbs and the driver "just couldn't get to it"! :rotfl2: I spoke with the actual person who receives the packages. The driver will return either later tonight or tomorrow morning. Thankfully, we don't arrive until Thursday!

Also, the very kind DISer from the family board left me her barely used umbrella stroller with "gifts for my boys in the basket". I can't imagine what she left? But it was so very nice of her.

Well, off to bring the boys for an early pizza dinner. 5pm DS4 has to be at school for his performance.

Oh, did I mention that my car outside temp. read 114 degrees today!!!:furious:

Still not packed!! I lounged around today. I MUST pack this evening!!1

Mare

If it was my kids stroller the basket would contain stale gold fish, empty juice boxes, a missing sock, and a half ton of Disney napkins and tattered maps! :rotfl:

I cried while they were doing the ultrasound when they told me DS was a boy....OMG..I feel like a brat but I did...I wanted a girl so bad & I was so sure I was having a girl.

OMG- You really are me...only I did the whole "It's a boy" crying thing 3 times before I got Em.

If it was my kids stroller the basket would contain stale gold fish, empty juice boxes, a missing sock, and a half ton of Disney napkins and tattered maps! :rotfl:

Excuse me Mandy, I believe you might be pushing my stroller. I know those napkins are ours (I thought I was the only one with a zillion napkins in the stroller basket!) and the missing sock is the one I have been looking for for weeks ;)

Okay, now you got me thinking........

Did she really leave me something nice or stroller garbage?:rotfl2:

Oh, my 3rd box arrived at the GF three hours after the first two! I just don't get that.

DS4's show was adorable! They changed their songs. I was really looking forward to hearing Peter Pan and instead they sang "Farewell, Goodnight" from Sound of Music - it was so cute. I loved "You Gotta Have Heart" from Damn Yankees. They all wore Yankee shirts and hats and had inflatable baseball bats and danced around with the bats. It was so cute. He really had the dance moves down! DS1 was a MONSTER :chewy: ! He would not sit still! The auditorium was so HOT! DS1 was sweating from running around that his cheeks were bright red. DH had to keep taking him outside for fresh air. When it was over, I grabbed DS4, his certificate and folder and ran out - too hot for goodbyes. See everyone in Sept. :rotfl2: Seriously, it had to be 100 degrees in there! Next fundraiser they gotta consider some a/c!!:rotfl:

Channing, I still didn't pack. DH keeps yelling at me. I promise I'll do it tomorrow - I have no choice!! :rotfl: I have everything in one corner of the boy's room, I just have to put everything inside the suitcases.

Off to go give very needed baths to two sweaty little boys!

Mare

We did give hugs and kisses to his teacher, but I had no time for photos, hugs and goodbyes from each of the 18 students! It was way too hot :furious: for that!! :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Sheli! That is so funny! Did you have recurring dreams you were having a puppy, too?? I swear....having a boy was so foreign to me!! It was a girl or a puppy I was sure of it.:rotfl: :rotfl: The funniest thing was at my shower my goofball friend bought me the cutest little outfit that said "Mommy's Puppy" on it with little puppies all over it.:rotfl: :rotfl:

OMG...I thought that was just OUR stroller crap. :rotfl: Now that we don't have a stroller anymore, it's our backpack crap.:rotfl2:

Mare! I do the same thing.....but wait..you still have time to order yourself some new clothes, too, if you do expedited shipping and send them to the GF!:rotfl: :rotfl: I always wind up doing that!!! I do the 11th hour repack and retry my stuff on and decide I don't like it.....:rotfl: :rotfl: I hope you have better luck than me with that deal!!!!

I love any song from "The Sound of Music".....how adorable....but that heat sounds miserable. yuck. We had DS's 8th grade graduation under those circumstances. Very unpleasant.:furious:

Have a great trip!!!! Enjoy your vacation in nice cool Florida!:goodvibes :thumbsup2 At least you're conditioned for it...Florida will feel comfortable to you.:lmao:

Hope Mike survived another miserable day in his hot store.:faint: :( It's gotta be cooling off in there about now.::yes::

Channing:)

I am thrilled to announce........

WE ARE FINALLY PACKED WITH 9 HOURS TO SPARE! that is a record for me! :rotfl2:

Hi gals! Busy, busy with work and kids. Took the dd's to the zoo yesterday. Very fun and very good for me to get out of the house. The weather was beautiful. We are getting some really hot weather tomorrow and then- RAIN more of it.

I was reading about Mare's envelopes. Mare~if you are still here...where did you get those? Did you print them yourself or order them? Very cute idea.

I have decided on the CP package and I am going with Coral Reef since I think my kids would love it. I am going to try and get the diver's menu with our pictures on it for our Anniversary. I am going to do this on our switch day from GF to BCV so we are in the Epcot area.

During our GF stay- we are sticking pretty close to the GF and MK area. We may go to the MK one day and see the parade and fireworks. I really just want to enjoy the GF and let the girls do all of their activities etc. My friends are arriving the 26th and possibly my SIL on the 27th.

Would you guys even bother renting a cabana due to the weather? I thought one for Xmas day might be nice and then we could rent those little water mice and spend a relaxing day at the pool.:confused3

I am starting to get a little frazzled with the ADR's:headache: I thought I was all plannned but now I am not. I want this to be extra special for our friends who arrive Dec 26 so I am back and forth over what they will like and not like. SIL has not really decided. They own a condo off Disney and I feel like I need to include her in all of our ADR's but that is 11 people :scared1: and I am sure it is not going to be easy to get these.

Hope all have a good day!:santa:

Anyway~ I am rambling. Have a good day!

Good morning!:goodvibes

I am up early becasue I went with DH to get my car back!!:goodvibes It is finally repaired from when the drunk hit it in December and looks like new!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Such a relief, but now I am so nervous to let Zack drive it.:rotfl: :rotfl:

My kids are still sound asleep so I am trying to be super quiet, haha....

Vanessa, what zoo did you go to?? We do Brookfield or Milwaukee. Just wondering.

Hm....the weather and a cabana...could be tough. You do have a 24 hr cancellation policy so you can change your mind and get a full refund. The Nov/Dec weather has been soooo variable when we've been there - from 80s to 40s. A cabana would be kiind of a gamble, but you'd know the weather enough ahead of time to cancel. I would make ADRs in a park or resort just incase as back up. It poured and there were tornados in nearby towns on Christmas morning in 2006 so THAT day at AK was our best park day of the whole trip....we put on our Disney ponchos and had fun! The weather was hideous but we got to ride the water rapid ride over and over again.:rotfl:

If you plan to stay out of any park on Xmas Day, you can also go around to the resorts and pin trade, shop, check out the decorations, rent a surrey bike at WL, boats at GF as you planned, go to DTD see a movie....you'll definitely find things to do.

Mare & Lesley & Princesses have a wonderful time!!:
goodvibes

I am starting to get a little frazzled with the ADR's:headache: I thought I was all plannned but now I am not.

Last night i sat down to plan out my ADRs...all that happened was that I made myself more confused.
One thing I did decide was that we would do the CP on our first full day instead of the 24th. I think we are going to stay close to the GF for the 24th and 25th.
Now i'm thinking California Grill for Christmas eve and Narcoossees for Christmas dinner just so I don't have to leave the GF grounds :)

I forgot about the coral reef restaurant...it was good the last time we were there...thanks for the reminder.

The Good News is the man fixed the AC yesterday. It was 92 when i got in and by the time we left it only got down to 86. This morning it reads 74. I did set the temp for 60 before we left and it only went down 12 degrees in 15 hours... but at least we can breath in here again lol.

I appreciate all the cool thought that were sent my way these past days.

Mike:rotfl: :rotfl: Ya that sounds bad doesn't it?? :rotfl:

No, what happened was I was hit on Dec 18 and the drunk's insurance co was pissy....my ins said I could just take it in anytime, get it fixed and they'd fight them for the money....well with the wicked snowy winter weather we had I just prefered to keep my car and drive it (just had some body damage) because it has 4WD and DH drives a 4WD Wrangler in winter...I waited until spring so he could drive his convertible and I had the Wrangler while my car was being fixed. It was really just 2 wks in the shop.:rotfl: but now it looks so perfect and new I am nervous to drive it and I am going to be even more tense than I already am when DS drives it.

Glad you have AC!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Channing :)

Morning Gals/Mike..
Enjoy to all that are leaving to the GF!!! Lucky Ducks!

I am here at work and I am TIRED today...stayed up doing homework way too late.
Sheli...I had trouble getting in last night and by the time I got in you were gone!:(

Have a good day..

When I had my ultrasound for Hannah, I was THRILLED to be having a girl, but my husband was CRYING that it wasn't a boy! He got over it after I told him it was HIS chromosome that determined the sex of the baby! We women only have an X to give after all!

Mare, the stroller might be gross, but at least you aren't really losing anything if you end up not using it! Maybe she will clean out the basket first! :rolleyes1

I am thrilled to announce........

Congrats on the healthy boy, Lesley! And ENJOY the GF!!! I also cannot wait to see pics!

Channing, glad you got the car back! You might miss the fun of the Wrangler in nicer weather!

I have been MIA due to Hannah's dance recital which was last night! Woohoo! It's over and she didn't fall down!!! It was a ballet number and while she did have the steps down, she was a little bit ahead of the music the entire time! :rotfl: This was her first year of dance, and she's 5 after all, so she really did great! Several of the children just stood there with there hands in their mouths and one even sat down on the stage! :rotfl: It was fantastic! Here is one pic from when Mom and Dad gave her her "dancer's flowers"!

The Wrangler is the girls and my "vacation" car!! DH has his cool car for summer, too, so we are set!:thumbsup2 Time to party!:dance3:

Andrea~congrats on the recital:cutie:

Hannah still has so much hairspray in her hair, I am dreading washing and combing it. :scared1: It grew barely enough to pull back into a low ponytail for the recital and I had to spray that sucker to get it to stay!!! Another mom loaned me glitter spray for her hair as well. It's everywhere! :rotfl2:

Kelly, that's great your walkway is getting fixed! That was pretty quick. Around here, if you need something done, the "lists" for having anything fixed are weeks of waiting!
