Chan, I am surprisingly awake today considering the 4 hours of sleep I got...less than 4 even, because I watched tv for almost another hour.

Maybe coffee at 11pm is a bad idea?!?!

It was fun to chat with you and Dawn. You are both great!

BTW- I AM UNDER 150 LBS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 17 YEARS!!!!! 149.5

Sheli! omg...you are a party girl!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Congrats on the weight loss!!!!:thumbsup2

Mandy - I am so jealous!! What fun

:goodvibes

Thanks! I had no idea they would still accept it!

We;ve usually had that experience, but on Soarin they were pissy about it...and wouldn't let anybody go outside their FP window (not us, but we heard them arguing with other guests)...not sure if htey are still like that there but since we've seen that we make sure we are prompt about Soarin.....

Also had the Peter Pan CM get snarky because we got one a FP in the morning and came back to use it that night....SORRY BUDDY....sh*t happens...had to leave the park...geesh...:rotfl: So I am now embarrassed to hand somebody an hours old FP...but usually no comment from them.

You never know who you're gonna get & their attitude...but we almost never use them in the specific window...too much zig zagging around the parks then.

Channing :)

We have never had any one say anything but we have never tried to use one hours later either. WE got stuck by the parade and were like 30 mins late and I went up to the guy at Buzz and he was like "no problem, you can come back anytime after the initial return time" we also have done this at Pooh, EE, and BTM. Like I said not hours later most 30 - 45 min passed the window.

I agree with Chan that it does depend on the CM with most things at Disney :confused3

Those were the only times anybody said "boo" about a late FP....but it made me self conscious, haha...not enough to make sure I get to the ride in the return window though.:rotfl: Only really with Soarin...that guy scared me.:rotfl2:

I have even read about freaky Dissers that have saved fast passes from one trip to use on another!!! AND THEY ARE ALLOWED!!! :rotfl: If I tried that I'd be kicked out of the park, I just know it. :rotfl2: That's my luck.

Chan

Yeah I was MIA
I had to do the shopping and errands in the a.m.
and then I just hung out and read the sunday paper, clipped coupons and then hung with DH. It was so hot we closed up house and put on the AC.
Then I had the Celtics last night. I went by the chat but there was no one there.

woo hoo for your celtics...we missed you chatting

I was getting teacher gifts wrapped and ready til late and Col was on playing his new game....PLUS we slept in until 11 yesterday morning, haha..so I had trouble falling asleep at 1:30 am last night!:rotfl:

Morning Gals...Im at school today but it is QUIET!!! No parents or students or teachers!!!!

Thanks Marci, he is better::yes::

OMG that is awesome about your sons team!!! How old?? I know all about it...my son played travel bb for 2 years....now he plays locally..way better than all that traveling:faint: Good Luck:thumbsup2

Good one;)
Dawn:flower:

They are 12 and they play in superseries tournaments. We did tournaments last year, but not as many, and we didn't do any roadtrips last year but have two under our belt so far this season.

Morning gals!

Dawn and Marci~ Well we enter the softball world this morning at 9:30 a.m. My husband I are coaching. He knows what he is doing...but I have NO clue so it should be interesting! This is only a four week summer program so it will not be that bad. Dh is determined Lexi is going to be a softball player (especially since she is a lefty!):thumbsup2

Marci and Mike~ I hope your dates open up. I am on the fence for the CP on the 24th. I am going to make dh think about it tonight. I do not want to miss the GF that night but I also do not want to miss the religious aspect of CP. Maybe we will do CP Christmas night:confused3 I have heard several people say the earlier show in the day hours is not as moving as the show in the dark..I HAVE NO CLUE...just what I read.:santa:

When the heck should I be sending my ADR stuff to the IPO??:confused3

I laughed at your story about Lexi. I'm glad she changed her mind and hit the ball. Good for you and your DH for coaching! Good luck tonight for the game. I hope Lexi gets some great hits and has a wonderful time.

CP on Christmas night sounds like a great idea. My boys didn't care for it, so we haven't gone back, but I hope to one day.

I don't know if you got an answer, but I think you should go ahead and send your ADR info to IPO. I would have... if I had a clue on what I want to do. I need to get to working on it!

last night a car blew the stop sign in front pf my house hit the fire hydrant and flipped over at least 3 times across my lawn and landed inches from my front porch.

I feel truly blessed that no one was hurt as both of my sons and the neighbors kids were all playing in my back yard.

Oh my! I'm so glad none of you (or the driver) were injured. The pictures are truly scary, but I agree -- your lot and house are lovely!

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Mike I am thinking of you, because it already super hot!!!! Drink alot of fluids!!!

My DS-Robert had his prom last night. My kids go to catholic school and its a small school so they do things alittle different. The prom is in the gym and beforehand they have a Presentation. I didn't have any idea what this was because Robert is my oldest, friends and I made plans to have my babysitter watch the girls (no sibling allowed) and we were going out to dinner afterward.

Well, first the present each parent with flowers and thank you note that wrote in school for you!! Need I tell you how hysterical I was, I was in a puddle. My son was please Mom, don't cry!!!! Then they do this really cute skit on were they invision themselves in 10 years!!! Very Funny!!! To put the cherry on the cake they all get on stage and sing one of my favorite songs My Wish by Rascal Flatts! I lost it!! On our way out, each child found their parents and brought us to a photo station and we had family photos taken (imagine after all that crying taking a photo), when we pick them up they presented us with these beautiful frames and believe it or the photo was great!!!

We went to dinner and I am not as good as most of you girls, I like my drink!!! Several Grey Goose and Tonics later I was feeling better!!! What a nice night!!! I never excepted such a beautiful presentation or that it was for the parents and thats what it was for the Parents totally!!

I heard the Graduation is awesome and thats next Friday!!! I can't imagine!!!

Wow -- that gave me chill bumps. What a wonderful ceremony.

Morning everyone! My stepson (8) arrives tonight for the summer! I can't wait to see him!

Yahoo! Have a fun trip!

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

I am REALLY going to start washing, ironing and PACKING today! The kids are both doing basketball camps this week so they won't be wearing any clothes they will need for the trip. I had a little talk with them and DH about what they could wear this week so I'm not stuck washing their fav outfit at midnight on Friday!

I hope you also have a great trip! We leave on Sunday for DC and I've done nothing... and probably won't until later in the week...

i wish I could sleep that late. My boys are up at the crack of dawn most days.

Mine too! They didn't get in bed until 11:30 p.m. on Saturday because of a baseball tournament, and they were up before 8 running around the next morning.

Morning everyone!

DS4 has a sprinkler party at school today. I was rushing around all morning packing his beach towel, change of clothes and crocs. Tomorrow's their last day so today they're having a "beach party in the alley way" - such a city thing! :rotfl2: They're celebrating for all the kids who have summer birthdays. He was so excited to wear his swimsuit to school instead of his uniform. :)

It is so HOT here today. At 7:30 am, when we left to walk to school, it was already 80 degrees!!! :faint:

I'm doing my last load of laundry - hopefully! - before we leave. I have all our stuff on top of our suitcases, now I just have to actually pack them :rotfl:

Hey, anyone know about the strollers you can purchase at WDW? This really nice mom on the family thread offered to leave me hers tomorrow. She didn't want to carry it home. She's staying at the ASM, but her daughter is doing the tea party at the GF, so she's going to leave it with the luggage dept for me. How kind of her! :goodvibes I figured I'd take it for my DS4 should he need it or just for times when I don't need the double stroller (like going to the pool). I think it's a Kolcraft?? I was just wondering if it reclines?? I promised her I'd return the favor and try to give it away to a family in need at the end of my vacation.

Well, off to pay more bills, fold my laundry and hopefully START PACKING!!!!

Mare

I hope DS has fun today and you guys really enjoy your trip!

WTG! That's terrific! Keep up the good work.

Sorry to pop in and out so briefly. This was part of my weekend...

Saturday we were up early to get the kids to baseball lessons, then I had to go pick up Andrew (20 min. there and 20 min back) and get him to his tournament baseball practice, then I headed to Dallas for errands and Randy brought Jake from lessons to the ballfield, where my SIL took him home to get ready for the tournament. It's a good thing they asked Jake to play. With him, they only had 9 players.

Randy picked up Andrew from practice and took him to swim lessons (30 min away), then they had lunch, groceries and went home. I did errands for Father's day and for the office, then went home in time to take a 45 minute nap, get dressed up and out the door to the bat mitzvah (an hour away). It was an amazing party! I bet it cost as much or more than my wedding reception. We got in around 11:15 and picked Jake up and started washing his uniform.

I got up early yesterday and washed three loads of clothes, then we headed on the long drive to the tournament (stopping at Jason's for lunch). It was very hot out, but we did have a lot of wind. A coach got hit in the head with a baseball, and they had to call in careflight. They landed on the field behind where we were, so we got a front seat view of what was going on. Jake ended up playing very well and he was the youngest in the division. I was very proud. We ran a couple of errands (there is a Croc outlet in the awesome outlet mall near the field) then came home.

It seems Andrew may have made the All-Star team (a total surprise to me!), which will make us very busy most of the summer with baseball. I'll know more in a couple of days.

My admin (right arm) has been on vacation a couple of days, and the new admin hasn't been trained yet, plus the intern called in sick today. I am definitely not liking this Monday! I better get back to work. Y'all were my lunch break! ;)

Hey, everyone!

its too hot to type... Its 92 inside the store. I am literally dripping wet.

My boss called and said I should have reminded him about the AC.

Hello?!!! you had a repair man here a week ago or so who gave you two different estimates. Where have you been? Alaska? don't you know its flipping hot out??!!!
Remind you when? When you don't show up to pay us? or when we have no contact with your for 5 days?
And every idiot customer..."hey don't you have AC in here?'
"oh sure we do..i'm just waiting for it to get really hot before turning it on, moron."

lol sorry for the rant, but did you hear? Its hot!:furious: :furious:

:faint: I cannot even imagine!! Thank goodness your family was safe!!!!

Mike- that sux about the A/C- I can't even imagine!!!

My 2 cents on all the character buffet discussion from 10 pages ago (:rotfl2: ) We will go to ANY of them for breakfast- but NONE of them for dinner. It isn't too hard to make pancakes, but they can royally mess up dinner!! We went to CP finner once and that ruined ALL the character buffet dinners for us. Garden Grille isn't horrible, but we have never gone back, and we didn't care for LTT dinner either.

We had a busy few days around here. DS's big bday party was on Saturday so I was preparing all day Friday for that. (Remind me to post pics of my SpongeBob cake!!!) We were at the White Sox game all day yesterday and DS got to meet Jim Thome and have his Jersey signed (He was SO EXCITED!!!! :dance3: ). Now Mommy has that stomach flu that is going around so I may be MIA for a couple of days again...

ETA: Bye to everyone leaving!!!!!!! And Welcome to all the newbies!!
Take Care!
Kristin

Eve Gals...

Mike~OMG I hope you get some relief soon!!!!

Kristin~Cute spongebob party...good thing you didnt invite Mr. Crabbs ;)(if you know what i mean)
Also, how exciting that DS got to meet Jim Thome and get his jersey signed! He is one of the good guys ::yes::

Vanessa~are you floating yet????? Hope everything is okay!

I am soooo jealous of you short timers (brook and wendy and mare and everyone else)!! Get Packing!!

:flower: Dawn

Evening gals!

Crazy busy day with work!

Channing~ Glad the recital went well.

Dawn~ This weather just SUCKS!! Please bring us some sunshine. We are supposed to go out of town for dh's b-day this weekend but if it dries out he will be in the field. I am so sick of RAIN!

Marci- Ballgame was cancelled so we shall see what happens Thursday. Another practice on Wednsday so that is good.

Do you guys think I should just skip the CP package?? I love Christmas and I am a sucker for Christmas music but I am afraid Lily will not sit still that long.

I have got to get this ADR thing done! I WAS soo excited and now I am just at a loss!

Hope you guys all have fun on your upcoming trip!

Hope you all have a great night!

Why the heck does my ticker say 1 day left? Yesterday it was 3 days left. it should be 2 days left! we're not leaving til Wednesday morning! :confused3

I just made the rest of my ADR's tonight...Boma, Yachtsman, SciFi, 1900 PF(thanksgiving day) now I have to decide if we are doing any breakfasts. We like to wing it, but I dont think we should take that chance over T'giving week...so i will need to figure it out!
Good Luck with your planning! :goodvibes
